This isn't a 'how much is this worth' thread, so I hope this is ok.

I am interested in the current market rates for people who manage GMB listings?

Optimising the listings and then adding content and sorting reviews etc.

I know there are very few people doing it but I did wonder if there was an average value for the service currently.

If you look on sites like fiverr, 50$ to optimise a listing is about a base price id say.

But just adding some reviews and content isn't going to achieve very much.

Depends on your customer I guess.. considering the software to automate literally everything is no more than $15 a month for a listing.

Reviews are best done by Review funnelling to get legit, geo-located reviews and subscription is cheap.

NAP setting, Geo-tagged images, Citations. Description with keywords is V cheap to do and quick.

Realistically could be all set up in an hour and if your running other businesses the subscription fees are shared.

* please bare in mind im giving you my opinion as a rookie Fiverr type seller, if you were a professional agency or Pro in the field you would obviously demand a lot more.

Frankly, listings rank without reviews. But, reviews are a must for better conversion.

If I was paying that I would expect to be within the 3-map pack for most of the keywords I was looking to rank for.

We are an agency in India and we are doing Local SEO for bunch of clients so I guess I can reply to you as per my experience.

Prices varies as per order size as well. If we have clients wanting to optimize 100 GMB's including unique logo, description , setting up hours and other stuff we would charge $20 per listing.

However then there are clients having 80 listings and we manage them on monthly basis and we add reviews and geo tagged images and other stuff ongoin basis and they pays us as much as $3500 a month.

Heh...I wish. I literally can't do a search for local businesses anymore without seeing fake, spam listings that have been "rented" to local businesses for $xxx/mo.

Just yesterday I did a search for a not-very-oft-used service in my tiny little town and on top of the listings was a guy with over 880 reviews, with a 5 star average. The next closest competitor has 8 with a 3.5-star average. ORM is going on everywhere now.

The Warren Buffett saying of "First come the innovators, then come to imitators, then comes the idiots" comes to mind as now we're in the "idiots" stage of this method. Everyone and their grandma is doing it and charging pennies when they should be charging thousands.

But such is the way of IM.

But, do not forget, wherever there are idiots paying peanuts for monkeys there are companies paying thousands for quality.

There are many businesses having lot of branches so yes I meant to say having same niche or same business having 100 GMB's at different locations.
