Linkbuilding on Quora, Reddit... ?

I wouldn't say it would be a productive way of linkbuilding.

You can spend your time better by reaching out to blogs for guest posts.

However, Quora and reddit can drive a good amount of traffic.

You've got to answer questions well, and that are niche relevant.

So for example...

Q: How can I soothe my gamers hand pain?

A: Say things like use herbs for inflammation, ice your hand before game, then say or maybe your mouse needs a change here are the best gaming mice available today for your hand pain *link website*

Obviously that's not the literal way to do it, but something along those lines - this is a good way to get traffic and sales.

Unfortunately this does happen sometimes, how are you writing? are you writing an informative answer? or does you answer seem spammy in some way?

If you getting your answers removed, you must provide more value in your answers. Do not make it spammy.. Sometimes you will have to write even 500 words long answer.

Quora and Reddit are the best QA sites to get traffic. Don't think about link because of these sites are trusted by Google so don't worry about it. keep doing you will get the result i mean traffic.

You can't really post direct affiliate links in Quora. This was a problem for me as well. And I wasn't putting affiliate links, I was putting up links to my own site. Which was just informative and non promotional but they still flagged me occasionally. One way that has worked for me until now is to just start a quora blog. You can post affiliate links to your Quora blog without any issues. And you can link to your Quora blog from your answers to get people to see your affiliate links.

That's a good finding, going to try it and also going to try to rank this quora blog as parasite... Anybody tried that??

I didn't try that yet, but it's interesting to know the results if you do try it. Reminds me of the good old days of using ezine articles and go articles as parasite pages.
