So I am definitely new to drop shipping but not to advertising I have been into home services division and have generate leads via paid traffic for a lot of services, Now i want to explore more options. Would really appreciate the advice from pros over here.

I want to get involved in Drop Shipping,

So what i have : $2000 (for Advertising) and $3000 for product purchase in total my capital is $5000 excluding the domain, hosting & other tech costs.

I have already made a beautiful website on WordPress using a paid theme, Haven't actually started importing products yet still learning online on how to go about it, have gotten into couple courses already.

Question to drop shipping gurus What percentage of your traffic comes from Facebook? is influencer marketing better than spending money on Facebook ads? Any other source of traffic apart from google & Facebook?

How does a noob with money get started with drop shipping, What kind of products do you recommend for a someone who is just starting up and if there is anything i should know.

Please advice and help a brother out.

Create some quality content for your customers and fans. Promoting just cold sale pages of your products is very ineffective.

Create some basic blog posts and:
1. Promote them as a selling funnel ( Social Media->HQ Article->Product Sale )
2. To build trust.

Good Luck

something im trying to also get involved with the same budget maybe we can partner up but i believe for myself fb ads is bettr to start with because influencers ask for so much but thats just my opinion as fb is more targeted

Have a look at chatbots... great way to spread your products

The product makes the money. I don't matter if you have the most beautiful website or the most effective marketing campaign if your products throw low profit or are simply not fitting. I think Oberlo has a feature where you can see how many stores already dropship that product. Take a look at this and find a great product with a high profit that is not sold by a lot of stores already.

Also, persistence is key. Maybe you won't make a sale in the first few weeks but if you keep on working they will come in eventually.

I use Google Shopping because it works really good with expensive products ($300 and over). Also once you build up a steady flow of money, don't be afraid to contact influencers if it does not kill your budget. Influencers will give your brand some recognition and get your Social Media profiles verified much faster. It's also a great look on the Instagram section of your website if there are a lot of creators advertising your product and brand.

You have a large budget for starting a dropshipping company. Services sell more than products do, you should start some form of a marketing company. I would recommend starting a business focused on promoting youtube channels, high in demand! Wouldn't be expensive in the slightest, $300 for site setup, promo video, and then the rest for advertising. Just my recommendation though :)
