I agree with that, however shopify is not exactly passive income. You need to keep on finding "hot" products to sell, advertising and a lot more things that take sometime.

As stated before you could use Fiverr (or Upwork). Learn what you can to acquire the necessary skills regarding web design and work as a freelancer on those networks.
Internet is full of free courses and ebooks.
