Is Link Building applicable for Etsy shops?

First thread post here. Just as the title says, is link building appropriate for ranking Etsy shops within Etsy's ranking as well as search engine ranking, or are there more suitable ways to rank Etsy shops?

Oh I see, thanks for your input. I tried Marmalead before but found https://erank.com/ which serves me better.
