Hello wise people,

today I'm coming here to ask you some questions and I would love to get some feedback and opinions.

I'm 18 years old student with the drive to make a future for him and his family. I read a lot of threads where people shared their journey and most of them were about making an authority website and then monetize it with affiliate marketing.

I would love to go on this road...To have your own project and work on it every day, and raise it as your own fckin pet that will one day turn into a money-making beast (LOL)

So yeah, I told about my idea of creating my own website to my older brothers (they run a successful marketing agency so I thought they might help) and they just laughed at me in my face that it won't work because "you will have to pour at least 5K into the website to earn some penny, we tried it in Slovakia and didn't work" and bla bla bla..
That's why I'm reaching out to you guys who already made some real business with this and have eyes wide open :)

So one of the problems I'm facing is that I created a website, registered domain and set up everything. Now content... I'm not native English (You already can see my bad English :smirk:) and I can't create good content for my website so it can rank better. Because of that and my limited resources I'm able to publish only 3 articles monthly from a copywriter (high-quality articles) I'm asking myself: 1. Is it worth to start my project?

Because I heard some people are killing it with 4 articles weekly and I'm in a stage where I can't really afford it. I don't have to make this website work in 3-4 months like others.. for me, it's okay to go slow road and start seeing penny coming in 6-12 months.. I really love the idea of getting Organic traffic that is monetized.

I would love to get some advice from you. Should I start? Is it worth to start it with 3 articles monthly? Should I publish them 1 by 1 or get at least 30 articles from the beginning?

Thank you very much and I will appreciate any help!

Yes. Start.

Online business is a journey. Many people who can afford 100 articles/month probably started like you.

Start with 3 articles monthly and grow from there. Learn how to write English better and do more research on the topics you are writing on.

The more you read and write the better and faster you will become at writing.

Also don't expect to make money overnight. Have realistic goals based on your budget, learn from your mistakes and keep on trying to improve.

There is no short cut

If your older brothers (I am assuming they are your direct family members?) are making money online.. Do they refuse to help you out with some advise at least?

Thank you for your advice, I completely understand that it is a long-term strategy :) I will try to improve every day and will see how it goes.

Also, do you think that if I publish copywriters content + my own content and let's say it won't be perfect, will it hurt my website in any way? Or what is the worst thing that can happen? Thanks!

Hello, yes they are making money online but they are very negative to any of my ideas and they say a million reasons why it won't work.. They may help me a bit in some way if I ask them, but it's something that is killing my mind because they are very egoistic so I rather search for information on the Internet :)

Going slow sometimes is the best, do not stress mate if you cannot afford and do more things than others. Just keep working on it and doing as much as you can.

In the end it will pay off :)

your brother is right in some way

3 articles per month might not be enough to compete with websites that are publishing content on daily basis

You have to find a very very low competition niche/kw to see some results with your resources

Also, beside content, you have to build backlinks...and some of them might also need content like guest posts....

Just because someone sounds negative, doesnt mean its wrong...

I know it's not enough to compete with giants in my niche, but I made a research and have around 50 KWR to focus on, where I will have pretty good chance to rank on.

Will see how it goes. In the end, I may start writing my own articles and will send them to my copywriter for editing and checking grammar. That would be cheaper.

Well...remember that if you got a not-so competitive niche, you can rank even with only a few articles. If you aim for organic, then dig deep into the niche, you will rank better and easier where there's less competition, which will bring you organic traffic, which wil give your site value and rank even more.
I'm no SEO expert, just stating some obvious facts :p

Of course. I'm in pretty competitive niche but as I said, I found the holes and I'm willing to fill them :) Thanks for advice anyways

Do it. Even if this doesnt work out as expected you will learn something on the way

On your own articles get Grammerly . It has a free version and you can use it to edit and create better content.

Yeah, keep working on it. You're 18; you'll figure it out.
Thanks for nice words :)

Yes, someone already recommended this to me and I'm already using it. It's perfect, I didn't even know I was doing so many grammar mistakes :D Thanks!

hey there, you are young and driven and that's quite admirable. as for your language skills, they are not so bad. you can actually write yourself. the post you created is about 400 words long and I cannot see any severe writing mistakes in it. remember, a lot of non-native individuals do write and make by so don't sell yourself short.

with that, i would suggest if you have time try completing that batch of 30 articles.. i think 500 wolrds per article, you can produce 3 weekly.. affiliate marketing is a great idea..

and if you love it, that's all that matters.. as for your brothers, listen other people are always cynical of new ideas especially if they have somehow failed.. but you only fail when you stop trying.. keep in mind you are just a teenager and you have to work for another 42 years of life of so, so giving up before even trying wouldn't do.. you will learn from your experience, just be confident in your idea and yes reach out to this community.. it's got so many successful people that can give you great advice..

Your English isn't that bad at all.
Thanks mate! I really appreciate tha :)

Man, that's just great advice and as I was reading by it was encouraging :) yes, I think I will complete that batch of 30 articles and will start publishing one by one :) While doing that I can write on a usual basis and I can improve as the time goes :)

I'm really happy now, I will be doing Instagram flipping journey, where I will track my progress of getting money via Instagram shoutouts, flipping and other.. I'm so excited :) Earnings will be invested into the website so let's go!

Thanks again :)

awesome I am so happy you found the advise useful, and I can tell you have a great personality and a rythym of how things work. You can do this! best of luck. also, your English is fan-freaking-tastic! Go, get em man!

Start a joint venture with someone who's a native English speaker. That way they can do a majority of the writing whilst you work on optimizing the content and working on the off-page.

I thought about it but how does it work? Can you tell me more please :)

I agree that your English isn't bad on here but you must have concerns. As others said, the more you write the better you will get. Therefore, maybe you should write as many as possible but then hire someone to proof read and tweak them in batches.
