I want to know if people here do IM full time and they make money off of it to be enough to live off of and then have some luxury goods and items or travel.

How do you cope with the feeling of copyright claims and the market removing your livelihood? thanks

Yes. I make a full time living from this stuff.

I don't violate copyright laws or do shady stuff. Less stressful that way. I would diversify my income stream if I did that.

Also, I save money for downswings. This industry isn't stable.

What is it that you do? And how much free time do you get?

(Note: no need to tell me specific thing if you dont want to)

Yes, I do. 5 sites. 25k/month. I don't do anything illegal. I have been threatened to be sued 7 times, but it never happens because they are empty threats.

E-commerce sites? Dropshipping?

95% of my living is made online, I work a part-time job in my local area to keep myself sane (along with hobby's) as I don't know about anyone else but sitting within the same four walls in my house on a daily basis does not help my sanity.

Copyright issues is not something I have encountered on my ventures and doesn't really apply to me.

If you're willing to learn, be patient and think outside of the box, you'll make money online.

PS: I don't purchase luxury goods, amazing holidays or items. I live comfortably but prefer to remain average joe and buy what's needed. (I save alot)

I find I come up with better ideas outside of the house also. This is definitely something I would like to do once I'm established.

Full-time is putting it mildly. For me, it's a 24/7 venture even when I can't find something to work on. I'm not strictly IM, as I have a dozen projects working at any given moment. At some point, I became unable to tell which projects were hobbies and which are part of my daily grind. It's not exactly unusual for me to wake from a dead sleep with an idea or solution that can't wait until morning. Even during my time off, I'm wearing out the 'F5' button here at BHW. Even when I'm on vacation, I constantly have this nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I should be doing something productive. It sounds like a bad thing, but in reality, I wouldn't have it any other way. It's def. something awesome to have my idea of fun line up perfectly with what I do for a living.

As for copyright claims, etc., I went white hat about five years ago after I realized that what I was working towards was indeed do-able on a professional and above board level. Now doing it the white hat way has become second nature, and the things originally holding me back, such as a quicker profit, actually come easier with planning and following 'the rules'. Everything is more black and white and it's easier to sleep at night knowing that things like appeals are easier to win if you didn't skirt the rules in the first place. It's hard to get into that mindset, but once it clicks in your head, it's less about BH vs WH, and more about creating a solid foundation on which to build for the future. With time comes wisdom, and with wisdom comes sustainability.

100%, keep the brain occupied in a different environment and it'll do the rest - simple but stupidly effective!

Yes, been full time for almost 5 years.

How do I cope? With copious amounts of alcohol.

Just kidding. I go hard and bank while things are good to make up for the down swings. Just need to buy enough time until I move onto the next thing.

Affiliate sites.

I could get more free time than a full time job, but I like working.

I'm this, but with a full-time day job thrown into the mix.

Are you making time to meet friends and family? Sex life? How's that part of your life going while you're doing this?

I do IM as my full time job. Make enough to sustain myself and be able to afford my travels (around 8 trips a year to the US).

I have to add, after all lively-hood/travel expenses and social security/taxes I'm left with pretty much nothing :p
I'm okay with it (for now) as I'm still young and find the experience more important than the money.

Eh, well, I ended up moving to the middle of the desert to get away from people, to be honest, but that really doesn't have anything to do with IM. That's more in the anxiety arena. But, the friends I do have are really close. Sex life? I'm married... it's never really been my choice, lol. But, let me tell ya how good it is when you hit paydirt!

Full time since 2013. But I also make money creating adult sites. When I started I was trying to do EVERYTHING. From dropshipping to buying/selling SM accounts and flipping. Still move some money through but I recommend people to master your main niche. Be a reference and you'll make money.

Curious approach! Im thinking about the same... my wife/partner is French and Im trying to convince her to move back to France. It's gonna be tough! She has built a solid career in Brazil and making good money. I want to move to Grasse, Cannes... maybe by 2022, 2023. Whi knows?
