Should i start an Instagram management service?

Hello all,
I' ve been into instagram for a year or so and grew a bit of accounts by myself.
In june, i worked to switch to Instagram management but never had any clients since i didn' t really advertised my service and was studing for exams.
Today, a guy from a social media marketing local company called me telling they were interested in working together, giving me their clients asking for Instagram management.
That' s a really big opportunity to begin my service with, BUT i' m not really sure about it since the major IG update.
I know i can slowly grow clients account minding the 6000 follows/month but other than that i' m having email verification problems with accounts of mine and i' m scared it could happen to clients account too.
A question for the phone proxy users. Is this problem affecting you too? Because if my service starts i will surely invest some money on mobile proxies.
A question for all of you more experience than me. Would you start an Instagram management service in this dark era?

I dont think is a good moment right now if u use bot, since the new IG bot restrictions...
If you will do it manually, and you know about instagram marketing, the history is different....

follow/unfollow issues, and only 1 yrs exp
ide say to early to manage serious accounts

I wouldn' t do it by hand. It would be too much time consuming with a decent pool of clients.
I would set the bot to behave like an human would do.
I have experience with instagram management; luckily i' ve built a lot of experience in this year and i know what to do and what to not do.
Still, i' m titubant about that.

Why don't you try but have a caveat in your agreement with them. That way it's less of a risk for you and your managing client expectations.

The caveat could be like a bonus scheme, where performance is tied to your efforts and results. That way the client will feel okay about the slow progress. You could also have a conversation with the client and talk about the current landscape to manage their expectations a bit better as well.

Don't lose the business just because it might not be the right time, perhaps you could do something else. Diversify your offering if you can.

Well, im not an expert, but i read BHW everyday, and discord channel of instagram bots, and most of people are facing follow blocks, even experienced people that are in the business for a lot of years and managing 200+ accounts
So maybe im wrong, and there is a way, but in my opinion, is so difficult right now.

Is not the same if u get ur own account blocked, as get a client that pays u every month, his account blocked...

Just my opinion, if u have an agency, u have to be pretty sure about what are u doing, but as i said, im not an expert.

I agree the best way to do it is manually but it takes up too much time and most people won't pay what the service is actually worth...

They are basically outsourcing their work to you. So you agree to help and then ask "I have my own precautions but just to make sure they line up with your SMMA, How do you keep clients accounts from being blocked?"
They will likely give you tips which aren't that important, what is important is the fact that you can say you followed the procedure if something goes wrong.

Just do it. You'll figure it out working for someone else... or you won't and they fire you.

Either way it's good experience.

I manage many accounts. Even manage accounts from a large agency. With that said, some accounts get hit with blocks, some don't. There is no exact science as to why one gets hit. So, my assumption is the algorithm. It changes according to the day, time and action that you're doing. If it does not raise a flag at that exact time, it may hit a flag later during the day, or tomorrow at another time.

Until we find out what the measurements used for the algorithm are, we will be walking in the dark. Just lowering the actions, may make the account hit another flag.

Better off building accounts & learning how to grow without full blown automation so you can leverage the skill rather than the management. When it's time you'll be all good to go

Short answer, NO.

You will most likely have issues, and will just cause headaches for you and your client.

It can be done, but the profit margin is getting slimmer and slimmer.

Offer other growth services that do not include automation. Such as influencer marketing. But then again with only 1year exp, I doubt you have the expertise for that.

IG is becoming a challenge, still viable just a little harder.

Keep in mind that people that are not really into Instagram are having a different view on these things. 500-1000 followers might be a very huge deal for them!
