my mobile app journey [starting from rock bottom]

keeep up update bro !! I'm following your journey maybe I'll start something similar soon

"Two years later I had a company with well established apps and was making mobile apps for Android full time."
How did you organize your team?
please, the more detailed the better.

Talking about app development its a great career path that you trailed, i commend you would wish to develop my own apps soon with the grace of the entity that exist within the confines of my circumstance, well great award awaits your journey success... my warmest regards to your creation.

good luck
While I am waiting for the suspension email or not from Google, I am almost done with a new app for IOS.
I will probably publish it before the weekend.
iOS is awesome, it generates 10x more revenue than android apps for me.
But be carefull with Apple too.
Do not publish new apps too often, and do not even try to publish copy of your code. They will start to reject your submissions and after few rejects they will warn you about possible account termination. I have experienced that

With such high earning app in ios you will definitely earn a lot ;) I wish you that!

A small update just so this journey won't be forgotten.

One more app has been submitted to the app store.
Now waiting for review.

The same goes for Google play
I submitted an app as well and waiting for a review.

I will post another update once I get some reply.
I am going to start monetising my traffic once I reach 5 apps in each platform.

This last few days I could not get much done as I am starting to go to the gym in the mornings.
It makes me very tired and just want to relax for the rest of the day instead of working.
I noticed that with good nutrition and proper sleep I am much more effective.

Til next time.

Wish you a Good Luck.
Hope you will succeed in your goal.

Update:

Same thing happened again with Apple, app got rejected.
Made some changes and pushed an update, fingers crossed that app will be approved.

Google play:
Approved my app.

App store : 1 app(s)
Google play: 4 app(s)

I replied to the resolution center and still no reply.
I do not want to publish any apps for now and just wait for their reaction.

Did anyone experience the same situation ?
App rejected and the reviewer asked some questions.
You replied into the resolution center and after 1 day still no answer.

I have been searching the net for a while and it is starting to stress me out.
Any help is appreciated.

Wait for couple more days.
For me, usualy review took 2-3-4 days, so be patient.
Fast review for first app in account is some kind of welcome greeting.

PS and yesterday was independance day in USA and day-off, so maybe nobody was working at apple

Is the review for an ios app more strict than an android app ? Also I read somewhere that ios app are reviewed manually by some mods and google review its apps by bots, how true is this ? Thanks for answering

As of 2019 both platform are reviewed with real humans.
Unless your account gets a lot of karma and trust.
It gets reviewed by bot (Google play specifically)

The review took one day.
But it got rejected in the resolution center with some misunderstanding.
I replied explaining the use of such libraries and I have been waiting on a reply since.

Update:

2 Google Play Accounts suspended with Prior violation.
They were both different in every matter I can think of, but still got suspended almost the same minute so they got linked.
One account still live with same app and different settings.
I have doubt about my proxy provider but completely lost at the moment..
It could be anything!

As of now I am still waiting for Apple to review the app I published two days ago.
Getting a little bit frustrated..

Til next time.

So, what are the methods to generate revenue in iOS Apps?

So, what are the methods to generate revenue in iOS Apps?
For me, Admob ads. I have only games.
But it depends of app, I believe for different type and niche in app purchases could be better.

Woke up to some good news as Apple approved the second app.
Slowly getting to my goal.

I just don't know how am I going to reach 10 apps on Google play when I get prior violations after some time..
I do not want to give up Google play traffic...

I will be creating another 2 accounts for Google play later and publish same two apps with different method.
Again while waiting I will be working on IOS.

App store : 2 apps
Play store: 2 apps

Til next time.

man, i know that feeling...when you start earning good money via app, and one day, gogle stop your account, for NOT real reason.
After receiving this email, I spent the next week so angry.. I stop all the app, but after a while, because I got a real XP in ASO, i decided to open a iOS account to make only ios app.
Apple won't ever stop your account without any reason, Apple has a real support (and helpful support), Apple doesn't give "strike" if you made an app with, but asked you to make some edit.....Anyway, Apple is by far a better platform for app. Even it's less than half of the market, but at least, it's a real support, so your account won't ever be terminated.
Good luck for this new journey.

are you still earning with iOS apps?

are you still earning with iOS apps?

Yes... well the global revenue is < than when I had the android app, but at least, I'm afraid to not loose anything in one day because someone at gogle decided it.
