Program to enable a proxy

I will be logging into instagram accounts and obviously am going to do it via proxy. Is there a program that I should download on Windows to do this? I heard that if you are changing the IP through a web browser it can potentially leak your IP...

Looking for some advice.

You can use foxyproxy addon for Firefox, but bear in mind, you will be using one IP(proxy at a time).
