Dropshipping + Pinterest = any success?

Has anyone tried promoting dropshipping stuff on Pinterest? If yes, can you please share with your experience.

What I am interested in is how many monthly impression you get to make X sales? And overall how is it to promote stuff on pinterest for ecommerce?

I haven't done it personally but a colleague gave it a shot for a month or two. He had a few conversions but at the end of the day said the juice wasn't work the squeeze.

Took me about 1month of consistency

5 posts daily, towards blogs, blogs are about the specific product, then sale

they are are selling blog

I haven't seen success by bringing people directly to product pages, even tho my product pages convert at 2.5% +

Exactly. Lets start that my account is old. I tried 3 years all methods I found here and unsuccessfully. Then I just posted 10-20 photos a day and I noticed that some of my pins exploded (probably 1%).
The interesting that that I try to do the same on other 2 accounts and it does not work still can not understand why
I dont want to reveal my niche but I think it is obvious that it is related to fashion

Fashion is more than enough. That's what I was thinking to do.

Were you just pinning your product pictures or putting in work in creating pins with text or smth?

I just checked my pinterest account and realized that it's not the same thing lol. I got 11 viewers and about 250 impressions.

Some say it's a free traffic option, but I'd go ahead and state that the amount of time spent on getting conversions takes anything "FREE" out of it. Time ain't free.

You are right 100%. I run fb ads on the first place and as the main traffic source. But since I am a little limited on the budget right now and I have some spare time I am looking for the best way to use it. And pinterest was one of the options. I did put some 12 pins over 3 days and I saw a spike of about 250 impressions, 11 viewers and 0-1 link click (depends if it was mine or not). So seeing these 250 impressions after publishing 12 pictures gives you a false impression that I am going VIRAL!!!! lol and everybody on youtube is selling this "pinterest-insane-source-of-traffic" kind of thing.
