What type of hacker does this and why?

out of curiosity was your password this: "wrong", so that when you put a wrong password and system tells you "your password is wrong", you would remember what it is?!

I do not understand what you mean. When i tried to access my account. Twitter sent me a message saying "Your account was compromised by someone not related to Twitter"... Anyways when i first created the account i wrote down the password , just incase later down the line i do not remember. I typed in the correct password each time and it kept flipping back the password section indicating it is incorrect and when i click " forgot my password" it sends a reset to the email address that has also been locked due that being compromised too.. When i contacted the provider with the some of the correct answers ( all but 1) they refuse to deal with it ..

Sorry to say, but your conspiracy theories are unlikely. These accounts are hacked to use them for fake likes/follows or to sell them. You probably either used a weak password or fell victim to phishing.

Fake likes or follows?? No i do not understand , please explain to my way my account -which is somewhat a tribute( in a sense) of a celebrity would be hacked for fake likes or follows? I am confusedo_O

Probably not the celebrity , I don't think any celebrity would be that paranoid to follow up and hack every group or accounts using her/his picture, it just doesn't make sense as she or he would have to comb the entire Internet to make sure no group or accounts use their images. That would be some real nutty celebrity. The account got hacked and is probably on the marketplace for sale already.

Like i said every forum ( even the ones my friend use to have of her ) was hacked and shut down.. Whenever i attempt to create pages with a dedicated name to the character she played( which undoubtably was the name my twitter/instagram was) they immediately get taken down or when i post, they get blocked. Coincidental? I dont think so.. and i had use the same name on every platform so it is not the case she has to scarwall the entire internet. She can just type it in the search engine and there i am

Perhaps they are planning to use your account in the future?

Or like to mimic a real page?

Hackers are people who use web skills for evil. Abuse of power.

Anyone can learn the skill, but why apply your time and effort into something unethical?

So why does not Twitter remove it then? That what makes me think that Twitter is on it too and getting some backhand payment from it..

My point is that the common reason why people hack social media accounts is to sell them.
:alien: so how much do they get? Pathetic because it is just a tribute page? Someone i know is a massive stalker of some guy celebrity and her page is still going strong 8 years down the line. Why the hell is her page not hacked? It keeps leading me back to what i said earlier. Maybe the celebrity herself paid the hacker to do this so that the page remains to make her career relevant but to deny me access

They don't target you they are using a big database and some automated script that change pass to everyone in the database they could access too so they can sell them so this is worth more for them thn just ruining your profile or something

So how much would it be worth? I was on Youtube and it says that Twitter would remove the account after 6 months - so what benefit would it be to them and why isnt Twitter doing more to combat and help users

A famous person only gets benefit from "spreading his name" and spreading "love to him" from as many people as possible who admire him and talk about him .... Fans work on advertising and distribution of his "good name" absolutely free of charge, so it is in the interest of every celebrity that as many people will admire them and therefore have no interest to do damage to their fans.

Because of this fact that I just mentioned there are 2 main options, and this is probably the second option.

The first option:
You are dealing with a jealous hacker who secretly idolizes the famous character and he thinks he's helping the celebrity he admires in his strange way.

The second option:
If everything you create is compromised then maybe what happens is that you have spyware on your computer.
And the hackers continue to enjoy the fact that you make their lives easy by making them products (accounts) that they can use them in order to sell them.

I am more believing this - it could possibly be the persons other half or someone who is jealous of the adulation the celebrity is maybe recieving

So he can PM all your friends on those accounts about a super offer that YOU discovered and they should definitly buy now. lol

Try to recreate social networks under the same dedicated name, but this time you will use a new computer you have not used before (ask anyone from your friends or family) with new email plus different passwords for all new accounts and everything is new to see if it's hacked again.
If this works the problem is resolved.

If he or they continue to take control of your social networks accounts, then I suggest you to find a new celebrity to admire :D:p:rolleyes:

if they will do something there, you will change your pass and do two factor.
