Slowly I come to know about hacking stuffs.

than I go search , study abit what is hacking. I even download script launch DOS attack lol but I never do on illegal stuffs , I was testing legally . But I come to know , REAL skil ful hackers never use script
script are program by them in return also use to hack others people computer.

and yes , if you download any of those hacking softwate be prepare your computer , data might be leak out backdoor.

next hollywood also showing some movies about hackers

than i get even more curious feel so admire of them got those hacking skills.

and ironic this is why I find out this forum.
at first I thought what hacking forum

later than come to know is about Marketing stuffs.

frankly speaking , I does hate hackers , but I more respect on the White hat hacker.

Glad to know, White Hat Hacker? you meant who find bugs in popular sites?

I was very interested when I was 12-14 years old, but know I'd say it's hard to find genuine hacking forums, I'm pretty sure they don't exist in the regular internet, maybe on Dark Web.

The things I'd read about hacking back in the days would make BHW a White Hat forum, which in my eyes, actually is.

The attitude towards hacking has shifted massively, at least where i was born. Many years back, hacking was mostly associated with helping companies stay more secure and goofy yet smart people having some fun with a new medium. You could go to a library and rent hacking magazines to learn about their exploits. These days, people associate hacking with a dark side of capitalism that is out to destroy lifes. It is kind of sad, because finding exploits and trumping a system is in itself a very liberating act, an exercise in freedom.

I respect hackers that do white hat stuff ( basically they use their Technics to secure people etc ) I will never respect a hacker who harm people. That's some kiddos stuff.

When I was in my teens I was a bit of a script kiddie. I came across a forum exploit where it was possible to change the admins password. Soon enough I found quite a large and very active music forum (can't tell you which one it was, still active today) that had an outdated version of their board. I ended up getting in and defacing the front page, banning the admins/moderators, hiding the original forums (didn't delete anything), and creating a new forum so that the members could chat in it whilst also sending a mass email to all of the members to get a better response. This was one of my best days on the Internet, the response I received was freaking hilarious, I ended up laughing so much. Some of the members started accusing a competitor forum of doing the attack, some realized that the admins/moderators were banned which made them happy, they also asked to ban other dickhead members, many members opened up about how the owner and the people in power of the forum were dickheads so they deserved to get hacked, others complained that the admin was stealing donated money rather than keeping the forum up to date, but most important of all many members found it very funny and couldn't resist letting other members know this, hardly anyone was pissed off. If I remember well the forum was defaced for no longer than a day, unfortunately I did not have hosting access so they easily got it back. That shit was hilarious as fuck though. I could of made money by getting the members email addresses from the database but I wasn't thinking like that back then. If I was skillful enough I'd get them again just for fun and I still wouldn't exploit them to make money. Good old days, aye?

Back then, it was more like a fun hobby, not a breadwinner of cybercrime units around the world.
I remember friends who were into hacking and it was seen more like an exercise of skill.

All black hackers which do not so bad things are now employed by security companies.

One guy from Romania fucked up nasa and us marine stuff, he got a penalty of 80k and now it's employee of a big company.

Another one I've watch it years ago was on hall of fame of more then 50 bug bounties programs from leaders of the market.

Hackers are good, hackers sell stuff if you don't become scammer or other dirty shit in my opinion.

Personally I admire them if they are white hat, their minds are different.

my competitors must be hackin the serp cuz they made my site go on page 3

Coming from an IT professional (Sysadmin and Netsec)

Hacking is an extremely complex skill. It takes a certain individual to be able reverse engineer systems. Not script kiddies but full stack guys.

For those who do blackhat.
Can it be admired? Guess it’s a personal decision. I find it hard to respect someone who uses knowledge, skills, and passion for an unethical gain.

Most hackers aren’t even hacking to make money. If they are real hackers money is not an issue.

It is for self indulgence and ego boost. They love to be the direct cause of mayhem.

It’s a psychological thing I believe.

Reminds me of the movie "Catch me if you can" where the main guy kept committing fraud because he enjoyed the thrill of being chased by the police.

I'm actually a white hat hacker, found few vulnerabilities on popular websites like Facebook and Yahoo. For sure being a good hacker means you can code your own scripts, or at least understand how the scripts you download are functioning and how to extend on them if needed. There is a very little string between being a white hat hacker, and a black hat one, in fact, one person may wear many hats depending on the situation, convictions, and rewards.
