Why do some hackers going into your social media account only to change the password and not actually delete or alter the main page of the site ? but only to deny the owner of the site access? What type of hacker is this ? and why? Whats the purpose. I had 2 of my social medias done . I mean what is so valuable about it to do this? I have a feeling that it is the celebrity feature who has paid to have my medias done as all the pages i have created of her through the years. ALL have been hacked

Why would they want to delete everything? Seems far more valuable to be able to impersonate that person and leverage their friends. Its super nasty.

They have deleted all the people i follow though. So what sense is that? They maybe have access to 2 or 3 people that i had been DM ing. Thats it... You see this is what makes me think that my account was hacked by someone who was instructed by the celebrity my page had constantly featured . Because whenever i create a page and she is featured in a lot. It is hacked ! She must be so darn paranoid to follow me around instructing my account to be hacked . I have not trolled her or sent horrible emails, so i cannot stand the reasoning other than she is on some bi-polar manic sh!t

A colleague once bought some Facebook accounts for promoting CPA offers. He later realized that they were accounts of real people with real friends, he felt really bad and couldn't use them. What the seller did was hijack the accounts from their owners and then sold them on some marketplace. Savage!

For some marketplace to do what with it? My page was just a page featuring an actress ..How is that a beneficary? Like i said i think it was the celebrity herself instructing someone to hack into it to spy on my DMs and people i have been following. I use to be in a forum that featured her show years back and the same thing happened to their forum and someone briefly mentioned she did that on Twitter. So it is not a surprise to me.. Twitter got a little something financially for turning a blind eye and making me believe that it was just a random hacker

Sorry to say, but your conspiracy theories are unlikely. These accounts are hacked to use them for fake likes/follows or to sell them. You probably either used a weak password or fell victim to phishing.

Probably not the celebrity , I don't think any celebrity would be that paranoid to follow up and hack every group or accounts using her/his picture, it just doesn't make sense as she or he would have to comb the entire Internet to make sure no group or accounts use their images. That would be some real nutty celebrity. The account got hacked and is probably on the marketplace for sale already.

Perhaps they are planning to use your account in the future?

Or like to mimic a real page?

Hackers are people who use web skills for evil. Abuse of power.

Anyone can learn the skill, but why apply your time and effort into something unethical?

This is what I feel likewise.
They hack into the social media account, deny the actual owner to access . They don't remove any content , pictures etc

so that they can show to buyers , see i selling a REAL social media account here with instant photos , feeds post etc.

recently I noticed my iG someone trying to hack
IG got send email notification to me

at first I also feel curious , why they try to hack . My followers is not much , some are fake
next I not an influcener either .

than later i feel maybe they trying to hack access it , change the pass word than sell the account.

My point is that the common reason why people hack social media accounts is to sell them.

What the fuck?? That's so fucking dirty.. can't believe people do this kind of stuff

Maybe they plan to sell it.
Also chances are they're gonna use em to run ads, genuine accounts have higher trust and spend limits

they sell just one buck but hardly will also consider Free money , easy money .
but they will sell is of course more than one bucks. You can see how much they can earn just to hack others social media account but lucky if your set notifiication , if anyone trying to hack your account you will get notification from the social media side.

These accounts are used to run ads on Facebook for Blackhat campaigns (cloaking involved) :)

out of curiosity was your password this: "wrong", so that when you put a wrong password and system tells you "your password is wrong", you would remember what it is?!
