Question about llc for ebay

Hey everyone. I couldn't find a clear answer on this. I was selling on ebay for a few years and got suspended for life due to a few months of late shipments and a couple negative reviews. I still had a 99.3 rating but no luck try to appeal. Anyway I was wondering if I create an llc for my business would that be a fool proof plan. Would I be able to bypass having to give them my ssn. I have a new computer and address so that wouldn't be tracked. Also I would create a PayPal account for the llc. Any advice from anyone would be appreciated.

That might be worth trying out -- You might also try opening a new bank account, creating a new user log in on your computer, and maybe a vpn service and just try getting back on ebay. This method might work and it's going to be a lot cheaper than less of a headache than the llc option.

I tried that before and they caught on somehow. An llc is only 120 dollars to get in Connecticut. I just want to get back on ebay. I've lost $40,000 in sales compared to last year at this time. I'm sitting on over 30,000 worth of inventory. It sucks

If that is the case, I feel the llc might be a great option for you then. I will still think you will want to take the precautionary measures to make sure the accounts do not get linked. New VPN, new bank account, new computer login, the usual ingredients for a 'stealth' account. You will succeed with the proper preparation!

OK awesome. I'm using a different bank account. Also a virtualbox with a changed dns and VPN

I am reading you only need an ein but I am stuck with some EINs showing personal info and others not. Will getting a DBA or LLC eliminate ebay and Amazon seeing the personal info?

I'm not sure. I did use a different ein on an account and they caught on in 2 months. I was able to do that with Amazon without an issue for the last year. I'm hoping the llc will solve the problem.

So you made a stealth Amazon using an EIN and did not get caught? Does your personal name show in your EIN? Maybe that is how ebay caught you.
There is a way to hide your personal info on an EIN but yet to know how.
