I actually went twice to Marrakech and thought people were really nice, just too pushy. The city is beautiful and there a lot of stuff to do. But the first time I was with a friend on mine of Morrocan descent (and I'm tanned as well) so we didn't get bothered a lot. Second time was with my blond girlfriend so I guess they just assumed that we had a lot of money.

I can't blame them though, tourism is the main business there and a small amount of money goes a long way for locals...

U should have somebody from the country with u ( a friend for example) I guess u will find thoes kind of persons everywhere but I suggest u to go in agadir or some place where u don't find a lot of tourists

Afghanistan and Iraq during my deployment in the military.. It sucked.

I was in both countries as a contractor. Loved being in both. Like being in the wild west, especially Afghanistan.

I'd say Qatar's the worst. Because everything's so overpriced for what you get. I'd much rather be in the Emirates where prices are a lot more reasonable than what people think.

No offence, it was not terrible I just did not like the feel of its capital. People were nice but the bullet holes in all of the buildings really gives a bad vibe. Also, the semi wild dogs aren't a nice sight to see either.

But on the other hand, after all, they've been through it's actually not that bad. Can't imagine how it was in the 90s, when they were under siege - terrible! The game This war of mine (
