Spotify Page deleted due to fake plays

Hey there BHW !

In the past, a lot of Spotify artists used to get their page banned and deleted from Spotify due to fake streams. Any one out there have an experience getting their page deleted due to this? I'm asking because I would hate to have my page banned and I want to take all the necessary pre-cautions to make sure that doesn't happen.

Happened to me.
It will most likely happen to you if you have used fake streams.
This "Fake Spotify Stream" ship has sailed, Spotify is cracking down HARD on everybody.
They just signed some agreements with some big record labels & other firms, in order to make their site a lot more secure + change alghorithm.

I’m glad you replied to this thread. Can you tell me more about the time you got banned? How many streams did you order?

Where did you buy the steams from?

Did you have any real plays mixed in with the fake steams?

All these questions would help me and other people looking at this thread. I was hoping to order fake steams, but have organic engagement in there too, but from the looks of it maybe all of it should be organic.

I ordered streams from a panel and they said they are completely safe and have never had anyone banned from Spotify (but of course they would tell me that)

I ordered very few, and it still got deleted. Ordered from multiple sources.
The problem is that all these panels & basically all fake streams come from SHADY user accounts. Their either created, or hacked, which Spotify knows of.
That triggers security red flags, and then Spotify analyzes these automatically, every week.Then you have

Thanks for sharing! I'll stay away from the fake streams. Do you know of any service that provides ORGANIC promotion for your spotify songs? I've been doing some research and it's kinda difficult getting spotify plays as an independent artist. There's no how-to guides like YouTube or Instagram.

Well, the biggest question is: how much money you have?
Cause you can always go to a PR firm, and there are even music industry related ones, who will know how to push your stuff.

Trust me, nothing beats real promotion. I just had some tracks added to some curated Spotify playlists (they were picked up, because of the quality of the tracks), and the response that the tracks received, is out of this world!
Thousands of real plays from all over the world, saves, follows, and social media interaction... it's all worth it.
If you have a label, or you represent an artist, put your heads together, budget some money, and get some real outside help from marketing agencies.

First step is to REALLY look into the agencies, and find a suitable one, which has reputation, and you can afford it. Then get in contact with them, and take it from there.

If you go "black hat" in the music industry, the important people will see it, and you're DONE. The artist is also DONE. And then you have to start from the beginning, with a new project.

That was such a good reply. I was actually looking into a PR firm because I do have some money to invest in marketing, just couldn’t decide which one is right for me. I’m going to send you PM shortly.

Where did y'all buy streams because i got my royalty check. Put where you got streams so everyone can know and be careful. I used for my plays @smm-heaven.net

Yeah if you can share who you bought your streams from that would be great.

- also, how did you buy the streams? Did you just go from 0 streams and buy 100k, or did you drip feed them to make it look more natural?

- also, we're you already receiving organic plays or did you just go for the fake ones?

Can you share the average pay per play from those "store bought plays"?
I guess they're below $0.001...that's what I've seen from SMM panel plays.

Nobody at Spotify checks these things to see if they "look real". There are automations that do these things, and these automations can definitly see the dips & spikes in your data.
Spotify knows EVERYTHING. Where was the track played, for how long, who logged in, what IP, what region....they have ALL the possible data for each play, and they can then decide based on this data, whether a play is real or shady.

And trust me: bombarding your artists/tracks with things from an outside source will raise flags, cause it's clearly visible that it's not real.
