I run an e-comm site and the instagram page associated with it has 1k followers. It mainly targets 1 tier 1 country. I didn't do any paid promotion for it.
Last week I was contacted by a 12k acc ( real person ) and the message said that she would want to collaborate on a gifting basis. I saw that on her profile she has like this story with loads and loads of products called promo but she also posts everyday tagging some page or product.
Now the account has great engagement rate and followers are from the country I'm targeting so how do I go about getting a post instead of adding me to that story nobody will ever see ?

No experience on this :)

It's very common.

They love FREE stuff.

Young girls aspire to crave attention and recognition through social media. New world we live in.

Are the items you sell expensive?

if not then do it, its great exposure for very low cost depending on your items.

Just upsell it to them. "If you make a post on feed + story, Ill make a nice gift package for you"

Something along those lines.

**** that, parasites.

Give whatever it is (unless it is some weird kinked sex dungeon toy) to a family member as a gift.

I just started the e com thing. I'm selling on ebay and fb marketplace and I only have 4 products of which I stock only one in 5 different colours.
They're not expensive so if I say I'll send that in 3 different styles it's a good offer ? ( hope she doesn't want the other ones..)

Andrei, just think of it in terms of what offer would be good for you and make it. Either she says yes or no. So, if sending three items in different styles seems a reasonable cost to you, then make her the offer. Tell her that if she does the "post on feed + story" like @underachieved suggested, then you'll give her the three items you're offering. If she takes you up on the offer, then great... If she doesn't then you're no better or worse off than you already are.

Don't offer more than it's worth to you, and don't accept less than what makes it worthwhile for you. She'll be making her decision based on the same criteria for her own self-interest.

It's just a negotiation, don't over think it. Only you can decide if it's a good deal. Decide what your willing to give, and what you want in return for it. Make your offer and then see what happens. The response can only be Yes, No, or another counter offer. If the response is no, or a counter offer you don't like, then just say thanks anyway and move on to something else.

It is common to give free stuff to influencers for a shoutout. I agree, you should request for a post + story.

Also, before agreeing check if the product is matching her page niche. Sometimes, people just get free stuff and post. But returns won't be favorable for you.

additionally if the products are expensive, I'd recommend checking her profile stats using ninjalitics or something.

I'm new to this but is it reasonable to ask her to tag the product so users can buy it directly from her post ?

Of course it is. There is no structure. If you can convince her to do so for one or two items then deal. If not then ok, ask what else she can do. YOU have the authority in this dealing. She reached out to YOU.

More than likely she is clueless to actual marketing, and just looking for cute freebies
