Intelligent ppl will never share a problem to an open forumn will try to figure out themselves.

I am not intelligent so heres my problem...
I need to optimize onpage for a website, so if i want to rank any of its page do i need to post a keyword targeted article below homepage and every product page or do i post it under blog section and internal link it to product page?

also, can i place keyword rich article on homepage which shows only 4-5 lines of the paragraph and user will need to click on "read more" to view rest of the content. is it safe to do so?
