Alright, may seem and it may actually is a stupid question, but i've never bothered with cryptocurrencies.

If i want to buy bitcoin for let's say 500$, where can i buy it? And if the bitcoin raises x2 for example, can i withdraw it and be in profit?
Would be nice if someone can explain how this works for me. Thanks!

CoinPayments is what I used to buy Bitcoin.
Alright but once i do buy it, can i sell it afterwards? Do they transfer my money back to my bank account/paypal or whatever method i use?
Or i should sell it to people, i really don't know how it works :)

You can buy crypto with credit card at Binance. Other options may be Cex.Io, coinbase, localbitcoins.

Yes, you can. You can then withdraw the money to your bank account/credit card. You can also sell BTC to a person, transfer him the currency and make him to the transfer to your chosen method of payment. (much riskier though.)

You can use binance for trading..and yes you can sell whenever you want

You're such a nice guy, thanks for posting :)
For real though, the answer is just a Google search away. That question has been asked a thousand times.

Here are some sites through which you can buy BTC:
  • Coinbase
  • CoinPayments
  • Cobinhood
  • Hitbtc.com
  • Binance
  • Bitsane
  • Coinmama.com
To answer your other question: yes, if the price of BTC doubles, you can cash out and get your money.

My advice for you is that if you're totally new to crypto, make sure to research the topic thoroughly before delving into this world, as it's a dangerous one.

I would like to add a good saying I heard somewhere about investing, that especially fits the cryptocurrency market - "Only invest what you're willing to lose" ;)

I personally use Coinbase to buy Bitcoin using Fiat and then I use other exchanges like Binance, Bittrex, Kucoin to buy altcoins using other cryptocurrencies. Yes, you can sell your cryptocurrencies on exchanges at anytime and then withdraw your money to your bank account. Coinbase also have PayPal withdrawals for some countries.

there are plenty of platforms nowadays. Even regulated ones in different countries. As far as withdrawing it, it is easier now than ever.

I personally use KRAKEN. Low fees, easy process. Love it!

But as posted above, a quick Google search, and you'd have plenty of answers to your question :)

If you are that new, you should not be investing into bitcoin or any other crypto.

Remember my post when you lose big chunk of your capital

Hello pekipeti4,

I suggest you buy crypto(In meaning BTC, ETH, XLM, LTC, BCH) at Coinbase.
They have a fixed fee of 4% for transactions.
Also when you buy the cryptocurrency you can send it to another wallet without a fee. (Only in Coinbase)
If you wish to exchange it for fiat money or another crypto, simply log in at Coinbase pro with your registration on the main site and use the features.

Hope this helped you.

Get a desktop wallet.

I use coin mate to buy.
