OK, catchall email solutions for our spamming tools are a must. There are catchall services out there, but I've found them to be rather unreliable. This method is using GoDaddy ... yes, I know GoDaddy sux, but I've been using them for more than a decade now and can't break free. Perhaps if you don't like GoDaddy, you can twist this somehow with whoever you like.
If you have bought hosting from GoDaddy in the past already, and they gave you a free trial for Office 365 email which you are NOT trying or using ... what are you waiting for?? Put it to use before the trial expires.
First, buy economy hosting using a discount coupon. You can search online for these coupon using your preferred search engine. There are always discount coupons available online for GoDaddy economy hosting for $1 a month PLUS a free domain name, AND (most importantly) a free trial for 365 email for a year. This is what we are really interested in because these emails cost $50+ a year. The free trial for a year won't cost you anything, but you better be sure to cancel it before the year is up.
If they give you a free domain, give it an emailly-type sounding name so it somewhat looks like a legit email platform. IF they don't give you a free domain name, you can search again for GoDaddy discount codes for these. You don't have to get a .com, in fact, there are currently .online and .site TLDs available for $1 a year. I have many of these TLDs and they have really good emailly-type sounding names with the keyword 'email' in the name. ex. teamail.online or something.
Get domain name privacy for the domain name too. I have GoDaddy Domainers Club because I own 100s of domain names and they give me free domain name privacy ... but if you can't get it for free guess what? Go ahead and search again for GoDaddy discount codes for domain privacy for $1 a year, they are out there.
After doing all this and making the purchase, your bill should be about $15 for the year. You BETTER be sure to cancel this email before the year free trial is up.
Setting it up:
Go to your product page on GoDaddy, look for the Office 365 products that are there and activate the trial using your email domain.
Once that's all set up and you're logged into your new Office 365 account, go to mail settings to disable the spambox.

- Go to Admin–>Exchange
- (1) Click “Mail Flow” icon
- (2) Click “Accepted Domains”
- (3) Highlight your vanity domain and then click the pen (edit) button
- (4) Change the pop-up from “Authoritative” to “Internal Relay”
- (5) Click SAVE
- Ignore any warning about needing to set up transport rules.
- Log onto Office 365 admin portal
- Go to Admin–>Exchange
- (1) Click “Mail Flow” icon
- (2) Click “Rules”
- (3) Click the “+” icon, then “Create a new rule”
- As soon as the new rule box appears, click “More Options…” link towards the bottom of the page
- (4) Give rule a name, e.g. Catchal
- (5) Change the “apply this rule if…” to “The Sender is…”–>”Internal/External”–>”Outside this organisation”
- (6) Change the “do the following…” to “Redirect the message to…”–>”These recipients”–> then select your catch-all mailbox
- (7) *OPTIONAL* Click “Add Action” and then “Modify the message properties”–>”Set a message header”, then set the header to “X-Catchall-Rule” and value to “Yes”
- (8) Under “Except if”, Click “Add action” and then “If Recipient…”–>”Is this person”–>and select the “all” Group which contains all exclusions (note – image above incorrectly shows an exclusion of CatchAllMailbox – this should be the “All” group which contains all users/groups INCLUDING the Catchall mailbox/group that you don’t want diverted)

Definity going to look into that. For me, I buy a lot of economy hosting from GoDaddy for disposable projects and these free email trials they are always giving me have their 'secondary' uses.
