Instagram deactivate accounts deliberately ??

After being an active member of Instagram for several months, a few days ago my account was suddently deactivated without warning and without explanation. My page is purely an artistic ( no nudity) page , which features my favourite tv artist or series . All original photos are given create to the co-operations - so i was not solely claiming them to be mine. I cannot understand why my account was deactivated and instagram has been little help other than sending an automative email requesting that i send a personal photo holding an A4 paper with a number( they provide), name and the name of the profile.

Now as my page is filled with creative art, i did not post a personal picture, but yet they are stating they need a personal picture to verify they are giving help to the right person.? . Which does not make sense as i did not add one to my page. Can anyone explain this to me as instagram has constantly failed to address this. Could it be instagrams way to further invade peoples privacy by bullying them into providing a personal picture by deactivating accounts and make it appear that either a rule was broken or the account was compromised.

Please can someone shed some light on this?

It is not a question of that . It is a question of how does that verify me when i havent even added a personal picture to my page?

I have... Instagram is tiny weeny humane than Twitter , but i keep recieving regenerated emails saying they want a personal photo - they refuse to answer any of my questions until they recieve that and i want to know first why my account was deactivated

Believe me they'll just tell you you broke the TOS & that's it (that's what most Social Medias do). The twitter support told me the reason is breaking their " TOS ". So it deosn't matter why they blocked you now, just upload that picture & you're good to go. You probably got caught between their wars & the Bot accounts (it happens).

Surely it is their responsibility to reinstate it as my account was deactivated in error or court between their wars and bots?

They will probably reinstate it once you send the photo as they requested. Just comply with their rules because it is their game and they are also the referee.

credits means nothing in this world unless it's stated when you download the photos, most photos are copyrighted and you're not allowed to reupload those anywhere.

This was not mentioned at all about breaking any rules... I only recieved this... No explanation- nothing!

It was only a photomanipulation i was doing - nothing majorly artistic, but i hear you.. I was thinking someone had done something - hence why Instagram are so obessed with obtaining a personal photo. - possibly a celebrity that had been featured in my post? The same celebrity i did a beautiful supportive tribute too i feel got my twitter use also compromised- coincidental or not??

There is ... I have a feeling it is this one particular celebrity though. It is too coincidental and she has the tendency to be irratic and somewhat bipolar, I wouldnt put it passed her to report me even though my posts featuring her have been incredibly supportive . On my Instagram account though i have featured verhy little of her and more of other artists- series that i enjoy , but yet my account has still gotten deactivated

Usually they send you a message, that they have deleted content from your site if somebody claims to be the owner of specific content. To ban your account is hard but you can just provide the picture for them now.
