I’ve been trying to get through Stripe’s BS for awhile now, I’ve submitted 20+ applications with them trying numerous things and constantly getting rejected. Today I submitted an application through a third party app and I received this Email from Stripe which I never have before -
"We wanted to let you know when to expect payouts to your bank account as you begin processing payments.
Once you begin processing payments, 50% of the funds for each transaction will be held on a rolling basis for 14 days. This means that 50% of funds will transfer to your bank account 2 days after the transaction is completed, while the last 50% of the funds for each transaction will be released to your bank 14 days after that transaction took place, on a rolling basis. (If the release day falls on a non-business day, the payout will arrive on the next business day.)
Since you’re new to Stripe and we’re just getting to know your business, we hold these funds to cover any potential chargebacks or disputes. If you have a well-established processing history with another payments provider, we would be happy to reevaluate with that additional information. Please send us your last 12 months of processing statements (a 12 month summary document is best!). We’ll let you know if we can make any adjustments to your payout plan.
Otherwise, we need to observe at least three months of processing history with Stripe before re-reviewing. Please email us at that time if you’d like us to reevaluate.
Thanks,
Stripe”
I’m hoping this is the truth and they’re not going to come back and ban me within a week or when I accept my first payment. Anyone else gotten this Email before? Curious if Stripe’s changed the way they run.
