Im looking to invest in some quality backlinks to my website.

Say i get these links to websitehomepage, does the link juice pass to websitehomepage/blog and the n finally to webaitehomepage/blog/blogposts.

Or will i need to invest in high quakity backlinks for each blogpost that i want to imrpove serps?

Link juice will flow if you do interlinking from the home page to others properly.

Could you explain breifly what properly is? Do you mean aslong as there are links from homepage to blogposts?

It flows like homepage>blog post if you put the internal link there. You need to dig a hole to flow the juice from one page to another. And that hole is called internal linking. Now to flow the juice everywhere you can't just interlink one another randomly. It has to be natural and well structured. Sorry, my English is bad so you might find hard to understand. This short explanation might help.

If you build links to your homepage it will accumulate link weight and pass it further to other pages through internal links. The deeper the page is from the homepage, the less link weight it gets. I'd recommend setting internal links to the most important pages from your homepage (so it will take 1 click to get to them), and building backlinks to your homepage, hub pages, and the most important pages.
