I think we will eventually see the rise of Bing in the next few years. I think People are slowly waking up to the influence of Google and the big social network. I also believe we will see a bigger shift to the dark web as more and more governments collect personal users meta data whilst dictating terms to isp’s.

Lucky you who experienced the free internet in the 90s. In my country we barely had phones in the 90s, internet was just a concept. I was too young anyway.
There's big money on the internet. This fact makes it unreachable for us, small fishes.
Just like there's big money on, let's say, real estate. C'mon, go out there and try to become a real estate tycoon. Can you? I don't think so. If you believe some shitty youtubers who promise you will be the next D. Trump if you buy their 3K$ online course, well, go and give it a try.
It's exactly the same on the internet. If you're not already crazy rich, you can hardly be in the next years.
However, today it's much easier than what will be in the next 10 or 20 years. At that time, it will be impossible!

IMO yes. I agree with you. Big companies took over most of the net. Even social sites that took over now impose their moral code onto you. It's possible to make money without spending money but not legitimately. You can pay for your cut of the pie or you can hustle/scam to take it from big companies. I think this will get worse and worse as tech companies become more advanced and powerful. This is why I am trying to make as much money as possible as quickly as possible.

I have been making money with IM since 2004 and working in IM for myself full time since 2008-2009. I have a good life.. but i can see for a fact it is much harder than it was 10 years ago and I can only assume it will be even harder 10 years from now.

THAT SAID. If you work hard and are creative, you can bank hard online. Nothing will last as long as traditional brick and mortar businesses from back in the day... but if you make enough during the short period of time when you are earning.. it doesnt matter.

Don't waste your money kids and when you find a method that works, push hard as shit because they usually don't last very long.

The internet in 2019 is heavily regulated and control by majors companies it’s extremely difficult for newbies to get into web related businesses. Back in 2010-2013 I would told anyone to start a blog but in 2019 if u don’t got a couple thousand good luck with cpm business other business like cpa is hit or miss depending on the individual

And Yes, I agree with every point you mentioned. We are all guided by a limited number of compagnies that take control over all the Internet.
Sites are all have the same layout, the same shitty content and NO CREATIVITY. Also, people on social media are publishing and sharing some junk chasing up likes and follows without being aware of the Big picture and how there are (and will be) in this cycle for years or maybe "forever".

And what scares me the most is the fu**ing AI and how it will be driving people to click here and there, and take this action and not that. I'm not a "negative" person, but honestly I'm seing the AI as a apocalypse for, if not the humain, the CREATIVITE AND FREEDOM of thinking, acting, creating, sharing....

The Internet is very interesting, in that it reflects human nature to the core. How society works and people interact with each other. I mean, we can have complete freedom - but sooner or later we will find ourselves in a small system controlled by a small minority of people. Just like the Internet.

I really like your example of every website being the same and following the same structure, just to comply with Google. The power that these companies have is absurd. They can change the whole layout of the Internet, just by changing the guidelines on their own platform.

As they say "He who controls the information, controls the world".

I don't think there is an alternative way, it's a natural process that a few people/organizations set the trends and rules for communities. If there is space for leadership, then someone will take it: formal or informal. I guess it's just human relations.

However, I would like to add that it's quite scary how these companies and people are using their power at the moment. The book 1984 is not far away from reality in Europe today.

Yes I agree with you. Over the history of humankind we have seen that people like to have a kind of boss, leader or whatever... that controls the community and set rules of individuals.

Also, I think that things in Europe are going slowly and a bit "under-control" than US and CANADA, and we have already seen that with GPDR the last year.

No, you missed up this. Entropy ALWAYS to tend to increase in Open and Closed System. But, here what is the system in your opinion ? If it's the internet then, this system is going against physics law, since his entropy is being massively reduced bu Google, Facebook, etc....

Yes, this is true, but the big sharks (Google, Facebook, etc..) have already a immense amount of DATA that they use to create and develop their platforms, so people will continue to fall.
Also some compagnies, Google for example are literally shaping, not only the internet, but the world of technologie, and you can take android system as an example. without gmail, you can't have access to the whole system, so there is no escape. and if you chose the alternative (which is apple), you also have been doomed.

for my side here , the trend kinda dong FB live selling stuffs , getting sexy girl shouting around etc
asking people anyone want this item , bid , etc sometimes they come out 10 buck goodies bags.

in fact even USA , also have if you happen to in FB roaming around in those selling items group

this is nothing new , but i noticed more and more doing this " some just do part time for some bucks " ,
some doing full time " , perhaps while they do part time , the results not bad so massive go into full time
doing FB live selling stuffs.

some does have a physical shop, and do FB live from their shop selling items.

but i don't think internet is dead. Is too many info , now we do any niche surely got a lot also doing.

during these period , internet is not say common in every household

I have to disagree with this. From my view, the internet isn't dying -- the damn thing is growing all the while replacing a few occupations here and there, and infiltrating what used to be so simple and private, like our own telephones, bedrooms, and kitchen appliances. It has become a virtual octopus with a zillion legs stretching into almost every thing that we do now.
