I have a general store e-commerce site but the social pages focused on a sub-niche of beauty because it was converting more. Below are the stats for the social page

Facebook: 600 followers
Pinterest: 26,000 followers
Instagram: 63,000 followers

Yet with this e-commerce site, I make less than $500 every month. What could be wrong and how can I improve it.

The question is: how many from your social media accounts visiting your website?
Do you track it and measure conversions?
Do you know which posts bringing you traffic and sales? (you can measure and track via UTM's/short links etc)

Well, it's not too difficult.
You can either use a different URL shortener for each link for each share or use UTM (I prefer UTMs), and I mean different link for everything, e.g. if you have the same product but sharing to a 3 social media - you should have 3 separate links. Once you do that - you're able to see in your GA performance for each of those links and you will see which one works better and what result it gives. This will allow you to know what type of content, product, and approach your followers like.

Thank you

have you tried running PPC campaigns? I hear Bing doing well.

you can use https://clickgum.com to track link clicks, and conversions. so you will know what channels working best for you and you can improve your online marketing.
