twitter crackdown on adult content

I got banned on 2 accounts, because I get involved in politics and get mass reported. I complained for few weeks submitting appeals many times and finally got them both unbanned and Twitter apologized for wrongly banning me.

Did they say they wouldn't unban at first and then later unbanned? Or when they say the account will not be unbanned it's dead?

32 k tweet does not mean spam, everyday tweet limit is 1k did you tweet 1k tweet everyday? follow and unfollow method is considered as spam
The tweets were posted over a spam of 6-7 months. Not in a day or week.

In an email sent to Twitter’s Trust and Safety Council, the company outlined a few policy updates that will be “rolling out in the weeks ahead.”
Among them: A tougher stance on “non-consensual nudity,” or images or videos shared without the subject’s permission. Twitter has issued a broader definition of “non-consensual nudity” it now includes “upskirt imagery, “creep shots” and hidden camera content” plus harsher penalties for those who share this content. Instead of a temporary account suspension, first-time offenders will be permanently suspended.
Twitter is also making it easier for people to report what it calls “unwanted sexual advances.” Previously, an unwanted sexual advance had to be reported by users directly involved in the situation. Soon, Twitter bystanders will also be able to report this kind of behavior.

There are still a lot of other issues Twitter needs to work out. Under categories like “hate symbols,” “violent groups” and “tweets that glorify violence,” Twitter just includes a simple sentence: “More details to come.”

Twitter has been dealing with abuse on its platform for years. Many believe that it’s the company’s biggest issue. Dorsey’s pledge to revamp Twitter’s user guidelines came after some users boycotted Twitter for suspending actress Rose McGowan, who was speaking out against film producer and alleged sexual predator Harvey Weinstein.

“Today we saw voices silencing themselves and voices speaking out because we’re *still* not doing enough,” Dorsey tweeted. “We decided to take a more aggressive stance in our rules and how we enforce them.”

A Twitter rep said the company plans to unveil more details about the updated guidelines soon. The changes outlined in the email are not final and could still change, but Twitter is clearly cracking down.

yes bro matildarobertson962 twitter is having a silent crackdown, just few hours ago one of my twitter account got suspended, dark days are ahead,

Did they say they wouldn't unban at first and then later unbanned? Or when they say the account will not be unbanned it's dead?

Account 1: They said "Sorry, we will unban it." So, they unbanned it, but then I logged in and it auto banned again. Then after I complain from 2 emails, 2 weeks later they finally unban again.

Account 2: They said "No. We will never unban this account. It's a permanent suspension." Then I complain from a different email, and they say "Sorry it was a mistake you are unbanned."

twitter have no idea what they are doing, this is attack on freedom of speech, they are suspending account because they belong to ideology that twitter does not support, twitter is not neutral anymore

This is ridiculous and simply not true. There are a LOT of verified accounts on Twitter that are allowed to get away with terrible things on all ends of the political spectrum with different ideologies. Anyone who spouts this rhetoric is simply lying to themselves and to others.

yes people belong to liberal ideology can get away with everything lol jack himself admited this, search on google, actualy i dont care about this but they are suspending adult accounts, this is my concern

Just like you are wrong about political ideology, you are wrong about why Twitter is suspending adult accounts.

There is no crackdown on adult content. Twitter has always required that adult content be consensually produced and not in profile pictures and headers.

I follow some of the biggest porn spammer networks on Twitter with 100,000+ tweets each, tweeting 30-50 times a day and all retweeting each other's porn tweets, and they are still going strong, with links to pornsites and CPA offers in their profiles and tweets. These accounts would be the first to go in a crack down.

Talking about twitter I just got a PV on twitter and I can't seem to get the text code to verify have anyone had issues with twitter PV?

Could you please share some of those accounts or provide any info how to find them? thanks

Search Brazzers on Twitter and look for unverified accounts.
Hold your mouse over their username to see how many Tweets they have. You are looking for 20,000+ tweets.
Look for Retweeted tweets especially in the Top Tweets search.
Then scroll through their tweets and look for their retweets and you will see they are part of networks retweeting each other.
Many 100,000+ tweets spamming out affiliate links and CPA offers.

But you don't know WHY that account got suspended. They could have broken other rules. Unless you show me an email from Twitter saying it's because they are a porn account, I don't believe that is the reason. How do you know that policy was updated on June 6? We don't know what that means or how it is actually enforced. It's less likely they are going after normal porn Twitters and more going after other content. When I search Google for that policy, the only result is the actual Twitter policy page. If this was new and people were getting banned for it, we would see much more news and complaints.

That's not necessarily a change to actual policy.

They said they are making the rules easier to understand, and adding more details, but they did NOT say they are adding NEW rules during this "update."

You have no proof that this wasn't always their policy. That's exactly why they did this update. Because they had policies which were not clear to everyone or where they wanted to provide more examples.

oh man what more proof do you need? they are clearly saying if you account is dedicated to post majority of tweet with adult content marked as sensitive, they will suspend you? what more proof you want? just because some popular adult twitter accounts are not suspended right now does not mean they wont get suspended in future, if dont want to accept reality its your choice bro :):)
