how to get a domain for 1$-2$?

hi, im looking for a cheap domain for 1$ to 2$
read some comments saying godaddy gives domain for 1$ but cant find it

preferably looking for .in, .com, .net or the like

Depends on what you are using it for but .com is best for anything

Type in google goddaddy 99 cent .com and you’ll see an ad on top. Click it.

Make sure you don’t use any current account or details used before if you used godaddy before

Most of these sites show the offer for first year but later end up saying that it's only available when you register for 2 years and the 2 years amount of equivalent to buying to buying the domain seperately from a good cheap registrar like namecheap
Like Ionos was giving domain for 1$ but then in checkout they said it's only available when I buy for 2 years or more and wanted me to pay 20$ lol
namecheap gives the same domain for 8$/yr so essentially it's cheaper

should I try doing the same thing with a VPN? the offer's probably not valid in my country

I am not 100% sure if this offer is only for a specific geo, but I think it should work with VPN

Usually you change to 1 and it let it go, but I used mine a long time ago - maybe something's changed
