i make like $10 profit if I sell a product is it even worth it? Last thing I want to do is spend $500 and just lose $500 like it’s nothing

You will have to research your targeted audience.. e.g Facebook groups in your niche will work bet and the country you are targeting as well.

Why spend 500? Test with 20 to get a feel for it, then analyse the data you bought

Start a few testing ads with low budgets to find targeted audience. Then increase budget to get more profits.

I agree with a few guys above. I have done facebook ads a couple of times. And mostly i like it when i don’t have to pay the whole amount. If you know what i mean.

You should try $50 per week. First, and there are huge metrics to get used too. Some settings might consume your budget. Like settjng up $1.5 CPC keywords.

But you’ll def learn something out of $20, $30 or $50.

Spending a whole $500. Is a lot pnline while
Learning. As me myself, i started with a a $20 domains loan from a company i was working for. So i literally invested nothing despite my time.

Im interested in knowing this too. I was told influencer marketing might give you more bang for your buck these days.

As suggested test it with small budget. Test audience and ad types - video ads vs. lead ads vs. landing page (depending on the education needed for product)

you can always try with low budger and then increase it.

well, you can do some calculations...

1. check conversion rate.
2. check fb's guesstimate/reach/clicks for that audience you want with 500$ budget.
3. calc your profits based on that:
if fb guessimates 2000 clicks for that audience with 500$ budget, and your offer converts at 1%, it means that 500$ will bring you 20 sales...
if every sale is 10$ like you said, then you made 200... which is a bad deal because you invested 500.
if your offer converts at 5%, then you made 1000, which is great.

play with the numbers.

and as others said, start with low budget then analyse and expand...

facebook recently made a change to facebook ads. now i cannot run anymore giveaways, sweepstakes etc.....i cant get even one ad approved. help?

Short Answer: Yes

Long Answer: Will you make a good ROI if any on your first run a FB Ads? Probably not. So you might want to breakup your budget and do some good A/B Testing.

PPC/PPI Works. You just need to find the formula that works for you.

All metrics are given and able to be analyzed for optimization.

I suggest you devise a plan, instead of just going right in.
