On-Page - Dealing with Fuck ups.

Okay, so let me set the scene.

I started a new site over a year ago with the aim to become THE authority as everyone does

I didn't do enough on-page but got beautiful links from outreach do the DA + UR we're pumped nicely.

I'm revisiting the site, it has around 70 articles (2000+ words each).

Now for the question -----

If my current page (with shitty on-page) is 'coffee maker' and only ranking for less than 10 keywords, should I rewrite the entire thing and re-publish it?

Has anyone done this before?

I got a better branded domain and i'm thinking of starting again...tell me why I shouldn't.

What do you mean by revamp?

So to add salt to the wounds, over the last couple months I dicked around with titles to try and target different KWs etc. that didn't help.

I'm thinking
- Get all content pages re-written (around 60 are total trash)
- Fresh Alts/Meta/Titles etc.

My concern is that my site has already been seen as shitty by google (bing is lapping it up anyway haha) = so this may not work?

Bing laps up almost everything. Thats why I love them over google.

I would definitely re-write those articles

I would also check out which keywords are best ranked in each article to include them in the title, H tags, meta description, alt text. Maybe you find some unexpected ones ranking well.

Re-consider the keywords you want to rank for and consider adding new ones, do the research

Use short paragraphs, more concise sentences (more information, less yadda yadda), obviously has to be up to date information. I would also check them with Hemingwayapp

Also check keyword density, number of links

I would also delete the 20% of the articles (the ones with worst SEO / no traffic / most outdated information)

This is what I can say after a few weeks of reading SEO threads/articles
