Hi

right now my current hosting is pretty slow, it sometimes takes a few seconds for a simple static landing page to load...
actually what seems to take long is the connection to the server. content itself loads pretty quickly once the connection is established.. its like white page, white page, white page.. then fully load...

i'm looking for a better host, i dont want my visitors to wait...

basically its a website with several landing pages for products, and traffic can be 50k short visits per day.
pages are not heavy at all, mostly text and maybe 1-2 small images (and if they're big i put them on a cdn).
few lines of php in the background (connecting to db, storing visitor data and such for analytics). so no heavy lifting.

any suggestions?
thanks

A shared hosting plan, for example, won't always run as fast as a VPS or dedicated server plan. When you're choosing a host, balance the speed performance and the pricing options. While higher-priced options often include more features, fewer limits on space and bandwidth, and faster speeds, analyze your needs.

Check the marketplace here, I can highly recommend @aqibarif74, been with them for over 3 years, lightning fast and very helpful

yeah i understand.
not looking for shared hosting, i know its not suitable.
i'm looking for a VPS (managed because i hate dealing with servers and configurations).
right now i'm on a reseller (which is basically a shared hosting) but its not good enough for my needs.
thanks!

i forgot to mention that i do need directadmin or cpanel or any other sort of control panel for my websites/domains...
and i prefer not to install it by myself since i'll probably ruin something.

so basically i need the server to have lamp and some sort of control panel installed... and occasionally do restore of backups if i f**k up something... rare but happens

thanks!

You better go with cPanel directly with easy to control.

I use cloud hosting by Hostgator and it is working well for me so far. Though it is bit pricey but for a good number of websites, i preferred cloud hosting than shared.

thanks, i'm in contact with you through your ticketing system...

Hetzner with cyberpanel and your website will be blazing fast

thanks!
sounds too advanced for me...
i'm a humble php coder who just needs lamp and to be able to host tons of visitors :anyway:

Cloud hosting is better than shared hosting because this service exists on multiple servers. It has ability to handle large amount of traffic and has better security protection and reliability. Shared hosting has multiple websites hosted together with other users.

You can do the php coding and have linux server as well.

Ever tried cloud hosting on HostGator?
Helps a lot if you're looking for speed

You may need litespeed enterpise to manage the connection and loading speed + good server with 1Gbps port at least.
Visit marketplace hosting sections and you will find plenty of them with special offers for bhw members.

ovh.com or hetzner.com are overkill and super cheap.
but unmanaged. so you need to hire somebody from upwork.com to setup the server for you (whm/cpanel)

or you can also try https://www.hostwinds.com/vps/linux
cheap and very fast support.

I can help with that can give you a free super alpha reseller account add me on skype simzcash1

Go for A2 Hosting, It's the best

You need good managed vps. I'd suggest to avoid EIG hosting company. Like as hostgator, bluehost etc.

For static landers the only right answer is Amazon AWS S3 in my opinion. None of the traditional hosting companies can match its speed or extremely affordable pricing.
The setup is a bit more technical, but once you do it a few times it starts going quite fast. Or you can outsource it to a VA if you have a lot to upload :)
