Instagram - Start-up Followers

I'm hand creating two new IG accounts related to promote a project (recruit people, not sell product).

I've noticed that my follow / follow-back ratio is low and my helper seems to think it is because we have so few followers (200) compared to those we are following (800-5000).

Should I purchase a few hundred followers to get those accounts looking a bit more popular so they seem worth following?

My second question is services that provide followers. Are there any that drip in followers slowly?

I'm under the impression that if an account gets 500 new followers in 1 day it can trigger IG ban.

Suggestions?

You are using one of the first thing people think about in IG game and that have one of the highest killing ratio and shadow ban for new accounts.

What could go wrong into purchase from pannels who sell the same database thousand times a day with generical accounts?

I’d say influencer adverts and instagram it’s self $5 to get real followers once you get to 10k it starts to grow organicly

Don't do it, it will not ban but 1000% percent you will be shadowbanned and you will ruin your account. If you want you can buy a mother/slave service so you will have natural/organic followers

Start botting follow/unfollow, you can also target people of interest instead of buying some fake followers

You are providing not enough information.
Who are you targeting? Recruitment should interest to a lot of people and your engagement should be high, but hard to tell from just gessing.
Do never buy followers (I don't even understand why people buys them) it will only harm your accounts.

Lilith55: Sorry for lack of information. I'm in the photography business, starting a new site with bikini models, and my target is college age females in the USA.

The goal for now is to use the account to get girls to leave IG, view information about the modeling jobs (pay, samples, information) and then to apply for modeling jobs.

jorjan: I do have some ads prepared, but they run on IG to drive traffic to the site where models apply, not for followers.

If you are already using the follow/followback method, I'd say you might as well purchase some followers for credibility since your account already has some inauthentic activity. Also I can help you with the child account set up.
