My Latest Adsense Blogging Journey

Dang, what tier countries are those? You should aim for UK & Australian traffic. In my experience they pay the most, especially if in an education category.

I have something similar to Google Adsense @blackbeans

Would you please help me. I have Google Adsense account & I'm using 2 Blogs for Adsense (Google Adsense is already running with one blog) & for seconldy, I'm trying to add Adsense but something is wrong with my Blog according to Google Adsense.

I have got this notice on my mail.

QbDRE8i

And I fix some error according to me and I re-request for Google Adsense & after some time I got again same notification and I again fix some error according to me and then I again re-request & 3rd time.

I got the same notification, So I don't understand what should I do? Should I give re-request for Google Adsense? What should I fix in my Blog that Google Adsense can give me add on my blog?

Go to "sites section" in your adsense page and they exactly tell you what is missing in your website. Its mostly generic but you know atleast what.

I got my url banned from Facebook in only one day that I did promotion on my blog on FB groups

Latest change: driving traffic to the target site using an ad rotator on my other blogs.
Changed to no return traffic back

Latest change 2: took out mailing list link on target site - the only ads showing are ADSENSE

Latest change 3: moves ad position to MIDDLE instead of MIDDLE and END

I'm specifically focused on non-Tier1 countries.
This is experimenting is partly about 'turning trash traffic into gold' :)

I've always looked at BHW's Journey section as a great way for entrepreneurs to MOTIVATE themselves by looking at a PUBLIC record of their project's progress.

With that in mind, here's my ADSENSE BLOGGING JOURNEY

I've built a new adsense blog

I've built it around 3 concepts I'm testing

- It will rely on social and referral traffic only
- It is built to maximize DWELL TIME (ie., the viewer views as many pages as possible)
- It is built on several page reads - the content is written in a self-referencing way so people have to backtrack to get the full meaning of what they are reading

This project seeks to test the following ideas
- It's possible to generate DECENT PER CLICK INCOME from non-Tier 1 traffic
- People will put in the time to read highly interlinked high dwell time content

It's only a day and a half old

So far, here are the traffic results: https://prnt.sc/nslsj8

I plan to post the income results after a week or so

Short term plans: (I'll be checking these off as I complete them)
- post 1 new piece of content every 10 days
- optimize visitor traffic volume and quality
- optimize page views per visitor
- optimize per click value over time

Yes; big up statcounter :)

Latest lesson learned: Check your EXIT LINKS for potential traffic leaks

Instead of exiting out through an ADSENSE ad click, your traffic might be using external link

I've plugged these.

Will post traffic results later.

Latest stats for this project
Project start date May 23

Income:
ZtxDWEK

Traffic:
Unique visitors since start
x03gu7W

Total page views since start

Project Insights so far

1) Split up content into many pages to maximize page views and dwell time

2) Call to action on each page to maximize page views

3) Show only 1 ad per page

4) Find and delete any traffic leaks (outbound links that do NOT go to adsense)

5) Adsense and StatCounter count Page Views differently

Amazing... let me stick around while I wish you good luck mate

What analytics do you use?
What type of content are you using - is it quizzes or list article? As you seem to have a good average pageviews per visit.

Also, to chip my 2¢ - don't put all eggs in one basket, once you have more traffic use multiple networks along with AdSense, it will bring a better revenue and decrease risks.

why 1 ad per page?

Adsense works by BIDDING

The more ads you have on your page, the higher the chance LOW BID ads will be clicked by your visitors

From my experience, this can mean the difference between getting 25 US cents per click and 5 cents (or lower) per click

Way to go man! I will follow!
Off topic: still taking rewriting orders?

Not just by bidding but by a lot of other stuff like behavior, previously visited sites, geo, interests etc.
Nobody (at least of now) is bidding to show ads particularly at your site, advertisers bid to target ads to a specific audience.
