I thought I would contribute with a Tip. So 95% of you probably are in niches you are not experts in, or maybe you bought a keyword package and were given a niche you have no idea about.

Let me tell you this, if you do not understand your niche you are likely to fail, yeah you can outsource content, but you cannot make amendments to it if you do not understand your niche. If you do make amendments without understanding you can really **** up your article.

So my number one tip.

Learn your niche, for example if you were given a niche in kayaks, then go on youtube and type in "Kayaks for beginners" or "kayaking lessons" learn every little details about kayaks, it should take you a week, but then you enter your niche prepared. You can outsource content, take irrelevant information out, add relevant information to make the article longer, optimize for SEO and more.

I guarantee that 1 week of learning, will benefit you for a very very long time.

Definitely, as soon as a knowledgeable person comes across your blog and sees the information that is incorrect, they are leaving and never coming back.

For my own site, I'm trying to do lots of roundups or at least get quotes from experts in my niche in order to improve E-A-T and to plug into my content.

Definitely, mate, it's so important and so many people hesitate doing it. I see so much content that could be improved drastically with little changes.

People seem to think they can rewrite content as well without knowing the niche, it is impossible, they are bound to make a **** up somewhere in the article that's going to drive people elsewhere, for example when I learn SEO, if I see a rookie mistake in an article, the blog is no longer trustworthy. How can I invest my time with information written by someone who doesn't know the ins and outs of the basics...

Couldn't have said it better myself. You could be an expert at kayaking but if you suck at explaining things that people want to hear then it's useless. Marketers know what people want to read so pair that with your advice and you're unstoppable!

So true, people tend to build a castle (SEO) on sand (poor content). They do not realize it is the complete opposite way around. You need to be able to produce amazing content before even thinking about SEO when it comes to Amazon affiliate sites.

Sure you can make money buy building SEO on poor content. But you will make 50x more if you produce great content.

I agree, quality writers who do research are good, but they do have time frames to learn the subject, it is not long. You can make the article so much more in-depth with a week of research. The further in-depth you go, the more Google likes you. Understanding your niche in depth + SEO is a money train guaranteed.

There is no noob way, unfortunately. I bought a keyword package from a seller here, it comes with the niche. I wanted a random niche as I find it more interesting to write about.

Yeah, I think it is because this is primarily an SEO forum, so people get SEO drilled into their brain and forget all about quality content. Or they try and take the lazy option and hire writers for 100% of their content.
