So this has been on my mind for the past few days.

Data center proxies are cheap and very easy to clone. It's also easy to understand-> Servers get built -> Servers get used. Residential proxies comparatively are much more complicated. They confused the hell out of me when I first started out. I had questions like:

-is rotating okay to use for social media automation?
-how do I know how many gb each server will use?
-how do I plan for cost?
-is it really worth it?

To this day I still don't know. All these questions have answers that are heavily debated by sellers and buyers of such services. It also changes alot and every veteran here knows that things change on the dime when it comes to working against big tech corporations with an army of nerds.

So let's take the debate here. Are residential proxies worth it?

All of my customers run their Instagram business using my datacenter proxies, but it looks like I've been pretty lucky finding a datacenter unknown to other marketers so we could say all of my proxies are probably "virgin" for Instagram.
I can run also 5 to 9 accounts per proxy without any problem.
After 6 months of botting we got 0 blocks / bans

You don't need to get residential proxies if you don't understand how they can benefit your setup. Or they might not even bring any benefit.

Stick to what you know and what works. If you have successfully used datacenter proxies until now.

Just because residential proxies are an option, it doesn't mean they are worth it in every situation.

Yes, you can use them for social media, but you can also use clean datacener proxies without any issues, as long as your accounts emulate human behavior and are not spammy.
