I have received this message saying that im named as a Defandant in a lawsuit , actually im not a US citizen , what are the consequences ? and does any one had a similar situation ?

this is the message :

A judgment order may follow and require us to take further actions on the funds in your PayPal account. If you have any questions about this infringement action, it is important that you contact the plaintiff's representative outlined below to respond to this issue.


Actually i have been selling this item three or two months ago , drop shipped from Amazon , and i made 3 or 4 sales , that's it ! .. and everyone is selling it all over the EBAY and AMAZON markets . They have sued alot of people's store . Is this will escalate to me as a citizen , or just a virtual judgement like SHUTTING MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT OFF AND TAKING MONEY ? any idea guys ?

if you truly ordered from amazon atlease you have a defense in court. Make sure to talk to a lawyer before the company does.

I am not sure you can win this even with a lawyer. I mean, that virtual judgement is the same as the judicatory, as it infringement of intellectual properties.

NO , i 'm actually a drop shipper , so i took the item from amazon and listed on eBay , then made 2 sales on December 2018 . Since its listed on eBay ,this May i have received this message . In fact there is like 40 or 50 stores whom they have sued for this .

Hmmm so they accused people like you wrongly. If you got a lawyer now is a good time to talk to them and ask some legal advice. I reckon you wouldn’t be jailed or penalized from it anyway.

OOH !! did this happen to you too ? pelase give any infos that mayy help , they asked me for a 6K usd to let down the case . actually there is about 50 stores that they have been sued by this company General Tools and Instruments, LLC .
