Come on guys... let's be supportive to the guy who is trying to quite.

My suggestion is that, don't just stop it. reduce it. have one or 2 every other day. and then reduce it to a few cigs per week... and so on. It's not hard as everybody speaks. You can do it if you want to.

Never really tried this but thanks

You will go back .. you need Nicotine. I was a smoker (Shisha) for +10 years. I tried to quit many times but failed because of craving and habits.

Then vaping was like god sent solution. It covers both of nicotine cravings + habit of exhaling and inhaling. One of the best inventions in this century for sure

Yeah I do. Not as much as I used to do. I used to smoke about 5-7 per day. Now I smoke only when I go out. Basically about 5 per week.

I was pretty much the same. Smoked since school, no intention to quit as I considered it to be my little guilty pleasure.

3rd January this year I was taken on a high speed joy ride in a big van with blue flashing lights, (commonly called an ambulance)
Thought I would never see my family again, blocked arteries from poor lifestyle including years of smoking.

I've been smoke free ever since, I eat healthier and now get more exercise. It's surprising how a little heart attack can change your views on certain things.

BTW, I'm only 48 years old!!!

PS. I vape now

I actually started vaping so i would avoid using cigarettes. It's cool because I can do it at home and it doesn't smell so bad

I've quit about 20 times.

Trying to quit again now.

Until last week I was 15 days smoke free, then this weekend I smoked but only 3 cigarettes.

Reduced about 99% though.
