@ankit03's is offering his time and resources to the forum to be a virtual assistant. As you can see from this thread's title, he's is working alone on this service.
For the review, I had
@ankit03 complete five tasks based on the tools and services he claimed to be proficient in.
Task 1: Microsoft Office & Craigslist Posting. I sent him a picture of a minibike I was planning on selling and asked him to write the ad copy and title for it. He wrote the ad and sent me a Microsoft Word document containing the ad info. I was originally going to post this on CL and give him bonus points if I sold it, but I didn't have the time and the ad felt a bit cheesy. However, there was an issue with his turnaround time for this first task along with the second task since they were given at the exact same time (See "Turnaround Time" under "What Could Use Improvement). Other than that, it was done satisfactorily.
Task 2: Data Entry & General VA Duties. I asked
@ankit03 to follow an old method I wrote in the Jr. VIP section. For those of you who can't view the thread, it's just a method on finding legal niche leads easily.
@ankit03 followed the method perfectly and provided an Excel file with the data I requested.
Task 3: Email Management.
@ankit03 was required to sort several "emails" into their respective folders. He completed this task task quickly and accurately.
Task 4: GSA SER & Web 2.0s. I had him build some web 2.0 links and use GSA SER for about an hour on a parasite page. He sent me a list of the links using GSASER's export option and an Excel list of the web 2.0s. No problems here.
Task 5: WordPress & Site Management. For this task,
@ankit03 proved ownership of one of his websites and provided me with access to it. He understands the very basics of WordPress, although I noted that his site lacked security features/plugins, a strong structure, and customisations outside of what the theme he installed provides.
To conclude this summary,
@ankit03 can do what he claims. He really excels in data entry and email management work, his Craigslist post and MS Office experience is satisfactory, he can handle creating web 2.0s and operating GSA SER, and his WordPress management skills are less than stellar, albeit acceptable if you need a basic (and I really mean basic) website set up.
Service Highlights
I really liked him for data entry, and task #2 was the one he did the best in.
If you need someone to sort emails into folders, ankit03 definitely takes the time to read the emails before sorting them. I even tossed in a couple of trick email to make sure he wasn't just reading he titles, but he didn't fall for it.
