IG Issues

A few days ago i was creating an account and i got an error message due to internet issues. It wasn´t on IG´s part.
Then i came back and not kowing if the account creating process ended i went to again create the account and IG told me that email was already in use.
I tried to login using the credentials i wrote the first time and nothing. I then tried to recover the password usig the same email and nothing. It says that email is not registered with them.
So...When i try to create the account it says that username already exists but when i try to recover the login credentials it says they don´t have a record of it.
Already try going to IG Support and Help and send them several tickets and nothing.
Is there any other option i could do? I would really hate having to use a different email and choose another username because the first one was just perfect and spot on...Cheers!

Yes that's always the case
if creating an account isn't successful the username is taken and you can't get it back

The same thing kept happening to me only when I tried to create accounts with gmail for some reason.
And so I just stopped using gmail and transferred fully to yahoo.
Never had any issues since then.

PS: It´s a bit sad cuz the username will be gone forever and it was just perfect (brandable)

You guys sometimes surprise me
If your account creation fail they block the email to prevent abuse (aka newbie level account creation mistake), if you know they can "block it" you can just try to not use the R3AL email at first

Dude when you get "something went wrong|" they BLOCK the email you used + username.
Yes walk away, read between the lines
REAL and R3AL, if you know it can be BLOCKED you can use R3AL instead of REAL so if they block R3AL you still have REAL to use, got it?
And if they allow you replace R3AL for REAL.

In my case I created exactly 30 ig accounts with gmail and 30 with yahoo with the same method.
The 30 yahoo ones are alive and rocking and 30 with gmail got instant banned upon creation.

It's a bit of a weird case since emails shouldn't matter but that's just my experience.

The ones who say email doesnt matter are the same who probably think the credit score doesnt matter.
That is the same of the ones who think yopmail and disposable emails have the same score as outlook, gmail and yahoo

This is what happens when you critize without knowing. I use a REAL and not a R3AL gmail email fully verified with a real person information (my wife´s aunt).

As a personal note. Gotta humble down dude. I check around here and i know you bought professor´s IG guide, went on under his wing and learned the ins and outs of IG and you´re currently enjoying great results. I get that and honestly very happy for you.
But again that doesn´t give you the right to come here and act like a jerk. Again, humble down a notch. Cheers!

This happened to me before, after you get an error while creating an account the next time you try to create the account it says the username is taken :/

Yeap exactly. And i did use a gmail account i opened for a wife´s auntie. She never had a gmail account but i ren into that issue when creating the account.

Too bad this happened to you.
This wont solve your problem, but it has happened to all of us.
When I create an account I always check if the username is available first and always use yahoo emails (don't know why, but I haven't had a problem using them).
If for some reason I hesitate or want to change the name in the creation process the account gets banned instantly.
