I need help with IG!

Hello y'all. I need to help with getting traffic to my Instagram page for my particular niche/business model. I have a shopify store that's selling video-game based merchandise (earrings, hats, t-shirts, plushys, etc. you get the idea).

I know the basics of how to do this, but I really need help with coming up with a strong coverpage. I already have a logo and what not, but how can I get people onto my Instagram and into my store? What do I have to do to get someone interested?

Unfortunately based on my product prices from Aliexpress, I'm not using the FREE + SHIPPING business model, but rather I'm just providing Free shipping for any product purchased while charging cheap rates for all products, meaning that I can't create a coverpage with FREE MERCH in the name of it since I'm not actually offering that. Also you should check and see what your competition is up to.
Check and see what type of traffic they are getting and from where , model yourself after the best then innovate.

How do I find my competition. I don't really see any popular Shopify stores on I.G that are focusing on the niche I'm doing.

Idk. They're just advertising deals and what not, and I'm following that same model as well as adding FREE SHIPPING for everyone. :|

I have abundant experience in IG. You NEED QUALITY PHOTOS. No way around this. Hire photographer or use a proficient iPhone camera.

As stated, competitor analysis, look at what their doing, do similar and better. Look at posts and say "I would do this better, I'd add this".

Target their followers on IG as well.

Find influencers and contact them, Gleam.io, Streaming Game Videos, have a blog etc. Don't just focus on instagram. Use/cover multiple channels of traffic. How to videos other idea. Have a blog, even a chat or forums if you want. Multiple social media pages.. Twitter, Tumblr, etc. Get a cheap VA to post on gaming forums in a whitehat way and later non-selly push your website. You could get a VA to contact video game community members. Fortnight annoying dances is still popular also.
