I didn't want to give up this tip but I'm not into adult content so I'll share it here.

This method can take time but is guaranteed to work, I tested with only 5 posts and got 2000 visitors in 2 days.

The first step is to create a NSFW Reddit account that you will use for this method.

The second step is to find a list of Subreddits with either inactive mods or no mods at all, I searched for two days and found at least 30 Subreddits with no mods at all and another 30 with inactive mods, meaning mods have no activity for more than 3 months.

Subreddits with no mods means the former mod was either suspended, removed their account from the mod list or deleted their account.

This Subreddit for example has 1 mod and their last post or comment was one year ago.

And this here is an example of a Subreddit with NO mods.

I will not mention any more Subreddits like this because I plan to use them myself soon and you will have to find them yourself, the subscriber count for these Subreddits were anywhere from 1000 all the way up to 300,000, the bigger they are the more traffic there is.

How to make money?

Reddit users are very picky and strict, but who cares if there's no mods right? WRONG, you will get judged and labelled as spam.

Unless....

....you're sneaky about it.

Create your NSFW account and start building Karma for about a month, make around 10 comments and 10 posts a day, use various image hosts to post relevant pictures to your list of various Subreddits.

Next create a simple image site with WordPress and add a couple ads around the image, top and bottom, DO NOT USE POPUPS, your site won't last long on Reddit with popups and your main money maker will be with the 2 ads, but with this method you can get tons of traffic, I have investigated some users who do this and their website is top 50,000 alexa ranking. Of course most traffic is from Reddit.

Once you have some Karma and post history you can start posting pictures from your site, you can post links directly to your site with the relevant image and 2 display ads.

While posting your own image links be sure to mix it up with other image hosts like imgur so you can remain "sneaky" and hide behind that spam wall.

A single post from your site per day can net you 1000 hits per day, so don't spam and this method will last a long time.

I would suggest 10 imgur posts (or other big image hosts, mix it up) and then 1 of your posts, rinse and repeat.

The reason I suggest to build karma for a month is so that you can get the feel of Reddit and you can see which posts do well on the Subreddits you post, if you're lazy and think you can get money overnight from this method you will fail, and I hope you will fail, I believe in hard work pays off, it may take you 2 months to start making good money but by then you will thank me and thank yourself for not spamming your links everywhere. Good luck and let me know how you do.

Recap steps because English is not my first language:

1. Create a NSFW Reddit account and start building Karma for a month, comment and post images to relevant Sureddits using top image hosts like imgur, tinypic, etc etc, mix it up.

2. In the meantime find and create a list of Subreddits with no mods or inactive mods, I found 60.

3. Also in the meantime create a WordPress or image website with 2 display ads, no popups, keep images pages on your website simple, just show the picture, 2 ads, maybe some thumbs up and down button and share buttons and that's it, keep it very simple.

4. Start mixing in your image links alongside your other posts and start making money, post around 10 images from reputable image hosts then one of yours to stay under the radar.

5. Hard work pays off.

A lot of manual work but it's a pretty good idea if you get it going. But why would you even care about mods with the 10:1 ratio? Seems pretty legit, even to mods.

No, but random users may report your account for spam to Reddit admins, which is different than mods, I think users won't notice much with 10 to 1 ratio, maybe even try 5 to 1 ratio? I'm just suggesting 10 to 1 as that's what I would do.

Hard work pays off until you understand how to literally do methods in full power within few mins/hours of setup.

Nice method. How much did you make doing this ?

I just did a small test of 5 posts and got 2000 visitors to my site, I already have a aged NSFW Reddit account.

I do know someone who has been doing this for a while and their website has an Alexa ranking of 50,000 and most traffic is from Reddit.

I am just guessing but a 50,000 Alexa ranking is probably around 25,000 visitors per day, with adult traffic that should be 50-100 per day? I'm just guessing.

Posting relevant content is important, if you're using Hairy Milfs Subreddit then post Hairy Milfs content, don't post Elephant pictures on Hairy Milfs, etc etc, the person I know who has been doing this for a while makes this mistake often because they just want money fast, and that's how you will fail, study your list of Subreddits and post relevant content to each one.

Not in to adult stuff, but I am trying to understand Reddit.
Any idea on how to find subreddits with inactive mods or no mods?

TIP: Here's a Subreddit with 1 mod, he is inactive and last activity was 5 months ago. Click on the mod profile and you will see this user mods 3 other Subreddits meaning they are all available for posting without the risk of mod deleting your posts or banning you.

I found a list of 60 after searching for two days, the biggest one with no mods at all has nearly 200,000 Subs with 300 readers online ($$$$$$) (there’s bigger ones with inactive mods)

Reddit will ban these Subreddits for being unmoderated or they will assign a mod for them over time, unmoderated Subreddits stay live for around a year before Reddit closes them down. In the meantime 100's of new ones open up.

Since you're trying to get to know Reddit, just simply create a NSFW account and start getting to know the platform, takes just 10-15 min a day to create Karma and you will be all set in a month ish.

Reddit is always nice traffic source, but it's pretty hard to fight with it. Nice share.

Nice share man.
I worked with Reddit in the past with different method.
You need to respect this community, otherwise Redditors will downvote and report you in no time.

Would be nice if you share also your results in future.

When you see that, steal the whole subreddit.

I've done this several times to great success.

There is a subreddit called https://www.reddit.com/r/redditrequest. This subreddit allows you to make requests for subreddits that are defunct. The most important rules:
  • You are allowed to request one subreddit every 30 days. Choose wisely. Multiple requests will be auto removed.
  • Subreddits aren't considered "abandoned" if any mod has been active anywhere on reddit in the past 60 days.
  • Moderator activity IS NOT limited to publicly visible posts and comments.
  • When a subreddit is requested, an automatic message will be sent to the mods of that subreddit directing them to respond to the request. We allow a 3 day grace period for moderators of requested subreddits to receive this message.
  • Accounts less than 90 days old, and without at least 500 combined karma will not be given subreddits.

What does this mean? Say you have a money site in the niche of... urban exploration. I would Google "reddit urban exploration" (not in quotes), and see what subreddits pop up in the search. That search showed the following:

https://www.reddit.com/r/urbanexploration/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Urbex/
https://www.reddit.com/r/urbexgear
https://www.reddit.com/r/abandoned
https://www.reddit.com/r/urbanexploring

All of them are relatively active, except maybe for the last one. Sadly, the moderator has been active recently, so it's not available for grabbing. So, if I had a money site in the urban exploration niche, and didn't want to geotarget any specific area, and knew that with enough content I could overtake at least 50% of the current subreddits, I'd make my own. urbanexploring is available. I'd register that, and go to town on it.

But there are tons of niches out there that can be grabbed. People subreddit squat all the time. It's just a matter of stealing them from inactive users and making them your own. I've grabbed over a dozen thus far. Some of them were six years old or older at the time, jut inactive, unused, and waiting for a revamp.

Thank you so much for sharing. May I ask which CPA would accpept such an image based website? Thanks !!

Always found it difficult to monetize anything through Reddit despite actually gaining a lot of success in karma etc. But this can i theory work with almost anything on reddit, just think outside the box
