What Is Difference Between Views vs. Likes On IGTV Videos?

Hello:

I just paid a company from here for misc stuff (IG followers mostly), but also bought some "views" for a short video I uploaded to IGTV. (Instagram TV for those who may not know).

I got notifications of many people who had VIEWED the video but... the likes remained at 4 (total).

I have not seen where these views are shown inside my account - is that invisible to the viewer? Does it spike IG SEO? What? And what's the point of getting a bunch of views if nobody can see it?

Around the globe there are subways who sell specific advertising spots that are seen by million of subway users everyday.
To be seen isnt the same of reaching targeted audience that isnt the same of converting the audience that see your public.

Lets say you are offering finance consultance, then I give you 10 million of Justin Bieber fans viewers, its expected to none of them convert, such what you did.

This really doesn't answer my question at all... again, the question is not about conversion or target demographics etc., it's simply a technical question regaring the little "heart" shaped icon underneath the IGTV video: Is a "view" the same as a "like" or counted as something different?
