IGTV has been improving engagement on all my accounts. Also have been taking old videos and reformatting to IGTV 9:16 Ratio and the impression and engagement has been awesome! Anyone else getting great numbers?

I use filmora to re format my old videos to 9:16 and make them just over one minute long. A regular video on my page gets 1600 views a IGTV preview gets 32k views every time or more

Good to hear about the reformatted "vertical" videos doing well for you on IG. I've been wondering about how much value IG is putting on their new (ish) IGTV, which ONLY allows vertical formatting (and 10 minute limit)

Brother, my video is over 1 minutes long and when upload to IG its auto shorten to 1 minute. Do you know what I did wrong? Sorry in advance if that's off topic.

Yes to my knowledge "horizontal" videos are only allowed 60 seconds; but the IGTV vertical videos are allowed 10 minutes. I'm also hearing they may allow 60 minutes for videos that are live streamed?

Hey bro, im using Video Resizer (Pro) iPhone app. Resizing my old video to IGTV and 9:16 still I had it only 1 minute cap on IG.

What I did wrong? Please help

what I do is take a video that’s longer than one minute, I use Filmora or https://www.kapwing.com/ (not promoting admin) to resize the video. To 9:16 but I add a black or white background so you can still see the entire video. I have about 200k followers with instagram algorithms I usually can get anywhere from 1k-4K views. With IGTV I am getting anywhere from 10k-67k views every time and website traffic and engagement is so great I no longer post to YT.

Speaking as a film maker... I hate "vertical video." But most people do shoot vertical with their phones I have discovered. The rest of the world uses horizontal video, but as it's not wise to ignore IG... I'm working on best/fastest techniques to produce content suitable for both formats.
