And how do you feel about Zuckerberg after all the news about privacy? Do you seriously think that if they change the Facebook leader, our data will be safe?

I have no problem with success, he's obviously good at what he does, isn't that what everyone on here is trying to do, be successful. Is Facebook the ultimate evil that some politicians make out ?, the same that need it come election time.

Everyone except for Facebook shareholders. And heads of institutional investing funds. And anyone that's owned FB stock since IPO. They're the ones that really matter I'm sure they like him just fine.

Chris Hughes was born on 3rd base thinking he hit a triple. He lucked into a high enough IQ to get into Harvard. He lucked even more being in Zuck and Saverin's dorm. He lucked into getting a ton of equity that made him a millionaire many times over despite not doing (from all indications) all that much to earn it. His few endeavors outside of FB like running The New Republic and getting his husband elected to congress have been dismal failures, even by his own low standards.

Now he has the audacity to bite the hand that fed him all these years? Outrageous and disgraceful. If he had any honor, he would slither away to his private island and shut the f**** up for the rest of his life.

I say this as someone who has no love for Facebook--everyone from the company I've met IRL has been a Kool-Aid drinking goblin or a lizard person in disguise. Out of all of the tech bros I've met, they are easily the most psychopathic, and that's saying something. Zuckerberg himself is barely human, himself the chief lizard man, and some twisted combination of Patrick Batemen and Data from Star Trek. With somehow even worse charisma.

Break them up, for sure, but don't take any advice from Chris Hughes.

I like Durov for his opposition...and I love VK (not Durov anymore) for free music and movies that I can watch before they go out in theaters :)
 
Anyone who knows about zukerberg knows how he got the idea of Facebook.. he literally stole the idea of his best friend... He really sucks
 
Yeah I got a bad image ever since I saw that movie about him. Geez I know the early days of Microsoft, Apple and others were dog eat dog, but Facebook was on a different level of dog eat dog.

There are nuggets of truth in the Facebook movie. Zuck had a serious girlfriend throughout Facebook, so the whole "impress a girl thing" was fiction.

The whole "ads aren't cool" on Facebook thing was also not true. Facebook did have standard IAB banner ads once upon a time. Instead they went with the true native Facebook style ads and did the right thing there.

Sean Parker did get caught with blow + with a 19 year old intern. Saverin did get screwed, as did the Winkelvii--it was totally their idea. The twins are heavy into crypto now and with the price of BTC going down, they've taken quite a hit. Another couple of guys born on third base. But Zuck did actually go to meetings in pajamas and did have business cards that read "I'm CEO Bitch." Nice guy.
