More Backlinks = G00gle Penalty ?

Hi,

I have been actively building backlinks to my site since last couple of months, this links are web 2.0, profile links and comments. Some of them get indexed naturally and some I send for premium indexing service and manual indexing. Now my question is, due to this indexing my site is getting good amount of backlinks fast, keywords and ranking, traffic is increasing and getting sales too (by the way its amazon niche site).

Someone told me that if I keep making such backlinks then I will come under google penalty so to avoid google penalty I have to make regular backlinks every month, is this true ? Do I have to keep making backlinks every month even after ranking for my keyword ?

is your website new? less than 6months old? if yes there are chances you'll site will get sandboxed according to the theory.

Yup keep building links, just make sure you are getting both n-o-follow and do-fo-llow links. Plus avoid buying any sort of links.

No my site is more then 1 year old.

I'm in the same boat and for me safe is to get 1 link indexed a week. Don't want to put my site in danger, plus i'm in no hurry at all. It will rank sooner or later - several months depending on the competition.
