I think they're gonna revamp the March update.

Deep crawl going on now across a bunch of sites I watch.

It's fetching every single page. Server load through the roof.

My sites' performance in GSC haven't been updated today. Also there is a new menu called 'Sitelinks seachbox'. There is definitely something new.

Was comparing my site's logs in the past few hours and it does seem like some big bot movement from Google. The search rate and how deep it crawls is quite unusual.
Eitherway, I will give everything so they will fix this March MEH update. It's about time.

I also have a hickup on GSC which usually precedes big updates.

Also since March had a lot of complaints, this might be a patch.

Well the March update gave us 6 legged horses and 4 legged snakes. They have to fix something somewhere.
