As you can see i am a newbie to this forum, 3 months ago I quit my job and came out and joined with my friend who is designer then we registered our company and started providing service. all went well at the beginning after few projects done it's really too hard getting clients, yet my upwork account also fresh with no reviews, i really don't know what to do, it would be greatfull if someone give me a solution.

Just ask people for money and they will give it to you go on the street and be like I dropped my wallet can I get a dollar and boom you have food money

Get a job, learn from your mistakes, save money, don't quit for stupid freelancing shit if you don't know what you're doing.

Often people will post a Hire A Freelancer on here to gain reviews on platforms such as Upwork.

What was your plan to get new clients? It hopefully wasn't upwork. If you're in a bad financial position get a job and/or cold call businesses to offer your service until your ears bleed from their rejections. Sooner or later you'll have success if you do not offer complete garbage.

I am planning to do cold mailing for now and planning to turn service based into product based but it takes atleast 1 or 2 months to get that done.

Totally agree your point bro, i quit my job once i packed some money in my backpack. So, money is not i am seeking for, i have to be successful in what i am doing.

Get a job and do IM on the side. Once you have a steady stream of income THEN quit your job.
That is what i have done when i was working, have made plenty of pbn for rental purpose to my friend, right now he started his own agency.

Even if you are looking for making a career from upwork, there are some full-time jobs that you can get there but till then, make sure you find something locally because it wont be very long before you get completely demotivated without job.

I hate how upwork charges for bids. (even when you are not selected ) you have to pay up in advance

I am not totally depend on upwork, my intention is should not miss a single chance that's why i am hanging on that too.

Not missing that too bro

As for upwork, my account was suspended cause i made job requests, can you imagine that? 5 year old account with ratings and stuff, i took a break for 2 years and decided to go back and they suspend me, for just applying for work.

In my country (Sweden) you can get cash for actively applying to different jobs online. Is this maybe possible for you too?

Can you elaborate more on this?
Not that I'm interested much - not from Sweden and in my country nothing like that is possible - just curious how on earth would that happen. Or you talk about regular unemployment welfare where you need to prove you really seek job?

Really, no bro unfortunately not.

What services do you provide to businesses? Do you have a website and email address with your own domain name?
