Which Wordpress Theme is Best Right Now ? (SEO)

What are some wordpress themes everyone has tried recently and love ? I'm asking this as it pertains to ranking keywords, I don't care about any other factors of the themes. Just which ones seem to have performed really well.

I'm looking for a handful of new themes to do some split testing with.

There are plenty of really great themes, not just one unique best theme. In fact, is useful that you get used to many because building everysite with the same theme is not a great idea, especially if you consider in the future the PBN development (considering that you have written this topic in the BH sub-forum)

It depends on how you plan to build your site. Twenty Nineteen can be as good as Astra.
For example, if you are planning to use Elementor, as @Holzr suggests, Generatepress is top tier.

There is a theme that it's also really great if you are not into a builder, Genesis Framework

Question. Can you use the base Genesis Framework theme and it work great, or do you have to install a child theme for it to work great?

Genesis framework works good for it but you can find many other as well.

@hatterftw1 You need to install child theme obviously for it and it's worth it as well.
