That depends on what you want.

If you want an organic SEO strategy, I recommend a deep on page SEO as the 1st step in your SEO campaign. Then you can start guest posting in high-quality sites, with relevant content with targeted keywords (assuming you already did keywords research) if not, that would be your 2nd step.

Another thing to keep in mind, blog posting.

Posts with +750 words about relevant things related to your niche, it will help you in Google, a lot!.

First of all you must work hard, nothing that has to do with SEO is easy at first.

if you use wordpress I recommend you install yoast Seo, it is a plugin that will help you a lot in your long journey.

You must apply seo on page and offpage simultaneously.

optimizes your entire site to be fast from pc and mobile, among others.

It also has a lot to do with the niche you choose, before starting I recommend you look for a niche that is not so exploited and that receives a considerable number of visits monthly. use long tail keywords, not just focus on the basics. Do not fill your site with links because they can be a double-edged sword. give your site time to take value and be liked by search engines.
