How many IG accounts I can run on gmt2 on my laptop(4gb Ram ,i3,windows)?I am just trying to make some bucks in starting then I will go for a VPS and please tell me how many accounts a VPS with 4gb RAM can handle. Thank you.

You can use Google Cloud as a free VPS. They offer 300$ as bonus.

Many popular hosting companies offer free trial VPS. You'll save both resources and bandwidth. With Digitalocean, you'll get 2 months free VPS which is more than enough if you've planned everything in advance.

To know exactly how many accounts you can run on that spec, contact GMT support.

Some bots seem to struggle with 50 accounts at that spec, whilst others can run over a 1000.

As to using your laptop / a vps. There is no benefit to using a VPS, part from you don't need your laptop on. If you are happy to run automation bots on your laptop, there is nothing stopping you doing so successfully.

A laptop is not designed to run 24/7.

I have to agree with this, as much as my laptop gets abused for 16 odd hours a day, to run it 24/7 would kill it off fairly quickly...

That said, if you see it a disposable item for the time being, and can keep it cool with good airflow around it, there is no reason not to use it till it dies...

I use AWS EC2 instances for some of what I am doing and have a few old PC's picked up from local selling sites that I run 24/7 till they die for others.

I have only very recently got in to IM so may change what i am doing/need in the future but so far it's doing ok for what i need and cheap...

The options that currently you have is
Google free Tier
Amazon free Tier
Or you can setup a virtual machine on your laptop just for botting.

Generally, that is what a laptop is. People tend to replace them every few years.

But yes, a normal laptop is not meant to run at 24 hours a day for long periods of time. However, as OP is looking to save funds, they are not going to be loading a bot with 1000s of accounts and will be starting small, so no need to run it 24 hours a day, they can get their accounts to the limits they want easily within 12 hours a day.
